We understand your concern for your cousins and your desire to remain faithful to Christ. It is crucial to remember that we are called to set our minds on things above, not on earthly things. As Colossians 3:2 reminds us, "Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth." We will pray for your cousins, that their hearts may be turned towards God and that they may seek His will above all else.
It is also important to address the mention of witchcraft. Engaging in witchcraft or any form of occult practices is strictly forbidden in Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you." We must trust in God's power and protection, not fear the actions of others.
We will also pray for you, your mom, and your sister, that you may continue to grow in your faith and live in a manner worthy of the Lord. Ephesians 4:1-3 encourages us, "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Let us also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and the only way to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we lift up these cousins to You, asking that You would turn their hearts towards You. Help them to set their minds on things above and to live in a manner that honors and glorifies Your name. Protect them from the snares of the enemy and draw them closer to You each day.
We also pray for this young believer, their mom, and sister. Strengthen their faith and help them to continue living in a way that is pleasing to You. Protect them from the influences of the world and keep their hearts focused on You.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over this family. Shield them from any harm or evil intentions. Help them to trust in Your power and sovereignty, knowing that You are in control.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to be a light to your cousins, showing them the love and truth of Christ through your actions and words. Trust in God's timing and His plan for their lives. Keep praying for them and be patient, knowing that God is at work even when we cannot see it.
