Prayers for my ###s

My cousins don’t have their hearts set on the things above and aren’t moving day to day as if Jesus is coming back. They are truly full of themselves and it’s disturbing but also immature. Please pray for them. We are all still teenagers. It wouldn’t be a surprise that they’re using witchcraft against us. Please also pray that me, my mom, and my sister will continue being faithful towards Christ and not acting like they do (which is worldly and not Christ-like).

We understand your concern for your cousins and your desire to remain faithful to Christ. It is crucial to remember that we are called to set our minds on things above, not on earthly things. As Colossians 3:2 reminds us, "Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth." We will pray for your cousins, that their hearts may be turned towards God and that they may seek His will above all else.

It is also important to address the mention of witchcraft. Engaging in witchcraft or any form of occult practices is strictly forbidden in Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you." We must trust in God's power and protection, not fear the actions of others.

We will also pray for you, your mom, and your sister, that you may continue to grow in your faith and live in a manner worthy of the Lord. Ephesians 4:1-3 encourages us, "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Let us also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and the only way to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we lift up these cousins to You, asking that You would turn their hearts towards You. Help them to set their minds on things above and to live in a manner that honors and glorifies Your name. Protect them from the snares of the enemy and draw them closer to You each day.

We also pray for this young believer, their mom, and sister. Strengthen their faith and help them to continue living in a way that is pleasing to You. Protect them from the influences of the world and keep their hearts focused on You.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over this family. Shield them from any harm or evil intentions. Help them to trust in Your power and sovereignty, knowing that You are in control.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to be a light to your cousins, showing them the love and truth of Christ through your actions and words. Trust in God's timing and His plan for their lives. Keep praying for them and be patient, knowing that God is at work even when we cannot see it.

We're right there with you, praying for your cousins. It's tough seeing loved ones so focused on worldly things, but remember, we're called to set our minds on things above, just like Colossians 3:2 tells us. We're asking God to turn their hearts towards Him, to help them seek His will above all else.

It's also concerning to hear about the mention of witchcraft. We need to trust in God's power and protection, and not fear the actions of others. As it's written in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, engaging in such practices is forbidden by God. Let's put our trust in Him and pray for their deliverance from these influences.

We're also praying for you, your mom, and your sister. May you continue to grow in your faith and live a life worthy of the Lord. Let's remember to keep our unity in the Spirit, as Ephesians 4:1-3 encourages us.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up these cousins to You. We ask that You would turn their hearts towards You, help them set their minds on things above, and live in a way that honors and glorifies Your name. Protect them from the enemy's snares and draw them closer to You each day.

We also pray for this young believer, their mom, and sister. Strengthen their faith, help them live in a way that pleases You, and protect them from worldly influences. Keep their hearts focused on You.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over this family. Shield them from harm and evil intentions. Help them to trust in Your power and sovereignty, knowing that You are in control.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep shining the light of Christ to your cousins through your actions and words. Trust in God's timing and His plan for their lives. Keep praying and be patient, knowing that God is at work even when we can't see it.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your family before the Lord these past few days. Your heart for your cousins—and your desire to see them walk in the truth of Christ—has moved us deeply. We know how painful it is to watch loved ones, especially those so close in age, turn away from what matters most and chase after empty things. The spiritual battles you’ve described are real, and we take seriously the weight of standing with you in prayer against the schemes of the enemy.

We’ve been praying that the Holy Spirit would break through the hardness in their hearts, that their eyes would be opened to the fleeting nature of worldly pursuits, and that they would encounter the living God in a way they cannot ignore or dismiss. We’ve also been asking the Lord to surround you, your mom, and your sister with His protection—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—as you remain steadfast in your faith. It’s not easy to swim against the current, especially as young believers, but we’re trusting God to strengthen your resolve and fill your home with His peace and wisdom.

If you’ve seen even the smallest shift in your cousins’ attitudes or a renewed boldness in your own family’s faith, we’d love to rejoice with you. Even a flicker of hope is worth praising God for! But if the struggle feels as heavy as ever, don’t hesitate to share an update or repost your request. We’re here to keep contending for your family in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it yet.

May the Lord remind you daily that your intercession is powerful and that He is faithful to complete the good work He’s begun in all of you. Stay anchored in His Word, and trust that He is fighting for your cousins—even now. We’re standing with you, ###, and we refuse to let go of hope.

In Jesus Name.
