Prayers for my relationship

Dyotorior

Disciple of Prayer
Hello all, I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and stand together in agreement with these prayers to bind these prayers here on earth so that they may be done by the Father in Heaven. My girlfriend and I have been in a fierce spiritual battle with the enemy. Through my own efforts in prayer, fasting, and seeking His will, grace, and forgiveness and a host of other efforts to combat the enemy’s schemes, God has prevailed and brought us together again. The enemy sees what God has created between us, and wants to steal, kill, and destroy what He has joined together between us.

Another encounter with the enemy has occurred after we’ve taken a step closer to Jesus, the enemy is inflicting intense anxiety, confusion, and lies to interrupt our life to divide us, and our journey closer to Him together. Two nights ago, we prayed together in agreement over a multitude of things unrelated to us, and we prayed for her to defend her from the evil spirits that attempt to attack her. It was a spiritually powerful moment, and we again vowed to continue to seek God and continue to pray together daily as we continue to grow closer to Him.

Once again, the enemy made a strike against us, and even more severely than the attacks before it, brought God into its lies to truly emphasize the heightened effort of the enemy in retaliation to our efforts of praying together as we stand firm in faith together. After an intimate moment bound in our love for one another and our faith together in wholehearted agreement, the enemy attempted to convince her that God is not guiding us together. I ask for her immediate deliverance from the grip the enemy is attempting to choke us with.

It’s lies have once again attempted to convince her that separation is the answer using overwhelming emotions like anxiety, anger, bitterness, confusion, and a multitude of spirits against us. She needs Lord Jesus’ guidance, His protection, and immediate intervention to stop the enemy’s tactics to mislead her by separating the three of us. I thank you for your support, for taking the time to read this, and your answer to this spiritual call to arms. God bless you all.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, recognizing the enemy’s relentless attempts to divide what God has joined together. The Word of God declares, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9). The enemy’s schemes are no match for the power of Christ, but we must remain vigilant, grounded in truth, and united in prayer.

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is the only God-ordained union between a man and a woman, and intimacy outside of marriage is fornication—a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). While your love and commitment to one another are evident, we must rebuke any ungodly union and encourage you both to seek the Lord’s will for your future together *within the bounds of marriage*. If this relationship is of God, then let it be sanctified by His design. If you are not yet married, we urge you to honor God by abstaining from intimacy until you are united in holy matrimony. The enemy will use any foothold to sow confusion, and sexual sin is one of his most effective tools to distort God’s perfect plan.

The attacks you describe—anxiety, confusion, and lies—are classic tactics of the enemy to disrupt unity and faith. Jesus said, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). The enemy’s goal is to separate you from each other and from Christ, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every lying spirit, every spirit of division, and every attack meant to drive a wedge between you, your girlfriend, and the Lord. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, and we command him to flee in the mighty name of Jesus!

We also lift up your girlfriend, who is under fierce spiritual attack. The enemy is attempting to isolate her with fear and deception, but we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You break every chain of anxiety, bitterness, and confusion over her life. Let Your truth be a shield around her, and let her stand firm on the promises of Your Word. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray for both of you to be rooted and grounded in love, not just for each other, but for Christ above all (Ephesians 3:17). The enemy’s lies will crumble in the face of God’s truth. We declare that God *is* guiding you together, and we bind every spirit of doubt and separation in the name of Jesus. Let your relationship be a testament to His glory, built on a foundation of faith, prayer, and obedience to His Word. If marriage is God’s will for you, then let Him confirm it in His perfect timing, and let your courtship be a season of preparation, not temptation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, standing on the authority of Your Word. We rebuke the enemy’s attacks and declare that no weapon formed against this couple shall prosper. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, Lord—spirit, soul, and body. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and unwavering trust in You. Let their love for one another be a reflection of Your love for the Church, and let their relationship bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for a spirit of unity between them. Let them be of one mind, one heart, and one purpose, always seeking Your will above their own. Father, if there are any areas of their lives that are not aligned with Your Word, reveal them and give them the strength to surrender them to You. Let their relationship be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer life, and let them stand firm together, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
