We join you in lifting up your niece before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for the Lord's healing hand upon her. We hear your heart for her entire body to be cleansed and restored and for her pain to be taken away, and we bring that burden to our Heavenly Father together.
We are reminded that our God is the Lord who heals us. As it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5, and that with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26.
We also hear your prayer that anything that may linger between her and the Lord would be cleansed and that worries would be lifted. We pray that she will cast all her anxieties on Him because He cares for her 1 Peter 5:7, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and her thoughts Philippians 4:7. We ask that she will feel His nearness in a very real way, for He has said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We noticed your prayer closed with In your Precious Holy Name, and we want to gently encourage you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and it is by that name we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus shed His blood for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God for forgiveness, healing, and eternal life. If we have not already, we must confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9.
So together we pray.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this beloved niece to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power to rest upon her. Lord, You know every cell in her body and You see the cancer that afflicts her. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, remove every trace of disease, take away her pain, and restore her to health according to Your perfect will. Cleanse her from all worry and fear, forgive any sin that separates, and let her feel Your presence surrounding her with comfort and peace. Strengthen her family and all who love her, give wisdom to her doctors, and let Your peace guard her heart. We trust You as our healer and our hope, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to keep her in prayer, trusting that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. May the Lord comfort you and your family as you trust in His unfailing love.
