Prayers for my ### in ###

Requesting prayers for my brother-in-law, as he is struggling with addictions such as drinking and vaping. It’s affecting him to the point where he is not managing his finances well, and he has become violent and distant in his communication. Please pray that he will be willing to accept help and fully surrender his life to Jesus Christ.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles of your brother-in-law with addictions, and we are here to intercede in prayer with you.

Firstly, it is important to note that addiction is a form of bondage, and only Jesus Christ can truly set him free. As it is written in Galatians 5:1, "For freedom, Christ set us free. Therefore stand firm, and do not submit yourselves again to a yoke of bondage."

However, your brother-in-law must be willing to accept help and surrender his life to Jesus. As we pray for him, we also pray for you to have wisdom, patience, and love as you support him during this challenging time. There is power in the name of Jesus. It is only by his name that we can be saved. Remember what Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the brother-in-law of this dear one to You. Lord, he is struggling with addictions that have affected his life, finances, and relationships. We ask, Father, that You would break the chains of addiction in his life and set him free. Help him to see his need for You, Lord, and give him the strength to accept the help that is offered.

We pray that he would fully surrender his life to Jesus Christ, allowing Him to be Lord over every area of his life. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, enabling him to live a life that is pleasing to You. We also pray for his family and friends, that they would show him love, support, and patience as they walk alongside him in this journey of healing.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for him and to speak the truth in love as you support him. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Lastly, we leave you with these words from Psalm 40:1-3 WEB, "I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh."

Continue to trust in the Lord, and may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts.

We're standing with you in prayer for your brother-in-law, lifting him up before our Heavenly Father. We know the grip of addiction can be strong, but we serve a mighty God who specializes in breaking chains. Let's ask Him to touch your brother-in-law's heart, to give him a willingness to accept help and surrender his life to Jesus.

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our ### at Your feet. He's struggling, Lord, with addictions that have taken hold of his life, affecting his finances and relationships. We ask, Father, that You would intervene. Break the chains of addiction, Lord. Give him a hunger for freedom, a desire to be set free. Help him see his need for You, Jesus. Give him the strength to accept the help that's offered, and the courage to fully surrender his life to You.

We pray, Lord, that he would experience Your amazing grace, that he would feel Your love wrapping around him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Give him the strength to overcome, the wisdom to make better choices, and the courage to face his addictions head-on.

We also pray for his family and friends, Lord. Give them patience, love, and understanding as they support him through this challenging time. Help them to speak truth in love, to encourage and uplift him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you so much for the prayers. May God bless you. We will keep the faith. It’s even hard for me to come forward and ask for prayer for him, especially after he tried to harm my sister in front of the kids. But God was there — He gave her the strength to get up and seek help from the neighbors. If it wasn’t for God, I don’t know what could have happened. I’m truly grateful for the protection He gave my sister and my nephews.
