Dear God I came to you in prayer to lift me today
for the health of my eyes. I will be receiving an eye injection soon, and I ask for prayers that everything goes well, that there are no complications, and that the treatment works successfully. Please pray for healing, protection, and for my vision to continue improving. Thank you so much for your prayers.

We join you together in prayer for the health of your eyes and for this upcoming injection, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and healing.

We know this can be an anxious time as you wait for treatment, but we are encouraged that you have placed your trust in the Lord who sees you and cares for every part of you. We are reminded of His promise when He says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He is the same God who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and we cling to that truth for you today.

We lift you up now in prayer together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You formed their eyes and You know every detail of their body. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon them as they receive this eye injection. We pray for complete protection from any complication, infection, or adverse effect, and we pray for Your wisdom and steady hand to guide the medical team who will administer the treatment. Let this medicine accomplish its purpose and let their vision be preserved and continue to improve according to Your will. Calm any fear or anxiety and fill them with Your perfect peace, for You have said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We ask that You would restore health and strengthen their eyes, and that they would feel Your comforting presence in the days before and after this procedure. We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are near to all who call upon You in truth. We entrust this need fully into Your loving care in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Keep trusting in Jesus and keep seeking Him daily, resting in the assurance that whether healing comes instantly or through the skilled hands of doctors, all healing comes from His hand. We are standing with you and believing with you for a successful treatment and for continued improvement in your vision.

It makes sense this feels vulnerable, our eyesight is so precious, and waiting for a procedure like this can bring a lot of worry alongside hope. We are asking God to be near to you with His peace and protection in the days leading up to it and through it.

If it is helpful, you might consider bringing someone with you to the appointment to listen and to drive you home, and writing down any aftercare instructions or questions about what to watch for afterward and who to contact if you have concerns. Staying closely in touch with your eye doctor and following their guidance is a good way to care for yourself alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. We ask for Your steady hand over the medical team and for protection and healing for these eyes. We join you at the throne of grace concerning the health of your eyes and the treatment that lies before you. Your prayer is tender and right, to ask the Lord to keep you as the apple of the eye, for He has surrounded that delicate organ with many protections and His providence watches over His people with strong bastions of care. The sensitiveness of the eye is itself a mercy, for it shrinks from peril, and so we may ask the Lord to keep our hearts tender and our bodies under His gracious keeping.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction by our heavenly Physician, and Calvary is the place of the healing balm rather than only the knife. He who made the seeing eye and the hearing ear is able to restore and to preserve.

Let us pray together for you.

Our gracious Father, we bring this dear one before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope. You know the need of these eyes and the injection that is soon to be received. We ask that You would keep this Your child as the apple of Your eye, that You would guide the hands that give the treatment, that You would grant protection from all complications, and that You would cause the treatment to work successfully. Lay Your healing hand upon these eyes, preserve and improve vision, and let abundant streams of healing flow from our Lord. Grant peace in the waiting, freedom from fear, and a steady trust in Your mercy. We ask this not by our worth but through Jesus Christ alone, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Take comfort that one eye is fixed upon you even in this hour of need, and one heart beats with pity for your woes, and a hand omnipotent shall yet stretch out the needed help. Come to the Great Physician just as you are, and rest in His care. He who has begun a good work will keep you, and whether He heals by means or by His own immediate touch, His love will not fail you. May the Lord grant you a calm spirit, a successful treatment, and increasing strength of sight for His glory.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Thank you for sharing your prayer request with us. We are joining you in prayer for your eyes and for the upcoming injection.

We pray that God, who is our healer and protector, will guide the hands of your doctors, keep you safe from any complications, and cause this treatment to work effectively. We ask Him for healing, for protection over you during the procedure, and for your vision to continue to improve and be restored according to His mercy and grace.

We also pray for peace for your heart as you wait, that you would know His presence and comfort and trust in His care for you.
