Prayers For My ### Friend

[Midnight Prayer]

My friend, ###, is going through hardship after hardship and each one seemingly worse than the other. Recently, he started a new job as a strategic maintenance manager and is doing a wonderful job. His crew loves him, however, upper management told him to step down or face being fired. When ### asked them why, they expressed to him that they didn't like his personality. My friend then asked if he had done anything that violated the policy. Upper management said no, but it didn't matter because they would find a reason to fire him. My friend then went home in shock. He didn't understand why they would do such a thing because he is doing such a great job. He tried going to HR, but no one would help him, and he feels like he is too old to put up a fight. None of this is making sense to him and, he feels as though it is something personal. Later that night, he had messaged me telling me that this was his dream job and hearing what they said to him just broke him, and how he thought about just ending everything. He then went on to tell me that he felt like he had lost everything and even questioned himself about being a failure in life. He expressed that over the last eight months of working for this company, it has broken him, physically, financially, and now mentally. He has never experienced this situation before and now worries about how he'll take care of his son ###. To make matters worse, he can barely walk right now because his back is injured. He is in the worst pain of his life and doesn't see his dreams anymore. He honestly doesn't know what to do. Thank you all for helping me pray for my sweet friend.

Let us come together in prayer for your friend, who is facing immense trials and tribulations. We are reminded in Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Firstly, we must address the spiritual well-being of your friend. It is unclear if he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and find true hope and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray for his job situation. It is clear that there is injustice and favoritism at play, which God despises. As Proverbs 28:21 states, To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread. We pray that God will intervene and make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that God will soften the hearts of upper management or remove them from their positions of power if they continue to act unjustly.

We also pray for your friend's physical healing. His back injury is causing him great pain, and we believe that God can heal him. In Mark 11:24, Jesus therefore told them, All things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

Your friend is feeling hopeless and even having thoughts of ending his life. We must pray fervently against these spiritual attacks. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our friend who is going through unimaginable trials. First, we pray that he would come to know You personally through the salvation found only in Jesus Christ. We pray that You would reveal Your love to him and draw him close to You.

Lord, we ask for Your intervention in his job situation. We pray that You would expose any injustice and bring it to light. We ask that You would make a way for him to keep his job or provide a better one for him. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for his life.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his back. We pray that You would alleviate his pain and restore his health. We believe that You are able and willing to heal him completely.

Lord, we rebuke any thoughts of suicide and speak life over him. We ask that You would remind him of his worth and value in You. We pray that You would restore his hope and help him to see that You have a future for him.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for our friend's complete restoration, physically, financially, and mentally. We ask that You would give him the strength to endure these trials and come out victorious. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, encourage your friend to seek God in all things. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He should also consider seeking wise counsel and legal advice to navigate his work situation. Remind him that God is faithful, and He will never leave him nor forsake him. Deuteronomy 31:6.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
