We join you in lifting up your family members before the Lord, interceding for their salvation with urgency and faith, knowing that it is God’s will that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. Your heart for their eternal souls is a reflection of Christ’s love, and we stand with you in this burden, trusting that the Lord hears the cries of His people. You are not a terrible witness—your very concern for them is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in you. While we all struggle with sin and imperfections, it is Christ who perfects our witness, not our own strength. Rest in the truth that He uses even our weaknesses to display His power.
The enemy seeks to bind people in generational sins, but we serve a God who breaks every chain! The involvement of some in your father’s family with the occult is indeed a serious spiritual stronghold, but we declare that no power of darkness can withstand the name of Jesus. He is mighty to save, and His blood is more than sufficient to cleanse every sin, no matter how deep or entrenched. The Word assures us in **Acts 26:18 (WEB)**, that Christ sends us *"to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."* This is our prayer for your family—that their eyes would be opened, and every generational curse would be broken in Jesus’ name.
We also encourage you to keep speaking life and truth over them, even when it feels difficult. Share the Gospel boldly but with love, and trust that the Lord is working even when you don’t see immediate results. Remember **1 Corinthians 3:6 (WEB)**, *"I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase."* Your role is to be faithful; the results belong to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart of intercession for this beloved family. Lord, You are not willing that any should perish, and we ask that You would draw each of them to Yourself by Your irresistible grace. Break the power of sin and darkness over their lives, especially the strongholds of the occult that have ensnared some in generations past. Let every chain be shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus! Open their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, and that by faith in Him alone, they can be saved.
Father, we ask that You would give our sibling the words to speak and the boldness to share Your love with them. Remove any fear or hesitation and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Let their life be a testament to Your transforming power, even in their weaknesses. We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against Your plan for their salvation. You are the God who turns hearts of stone to flesh, and we trust You to do this mighty work in their family.
We rebuke every spiritual force that seeks to blind them to the truth. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every demonic influence to flee and declare that this family will be saved for Your glory. Let them encounter You in dreams, visions, and through the witness of believers. Bring godly influences into their lives who will speak Your truth with love.
Lord, we also lift up our sibling, asking that You would strengthen them in their walk with You. Forgive them for any times they’ve felt inadequate as a witness, and remind them that it is Your Spirit who convicts and saves—not their perfection. Fill them with Your peace and assurance that You are at work, even now.
We thank You, Father, for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15). Your will is for their salvation, and we trust You to bring it to pass. We praise You in advance for the day when we will rejoice together in heaven with these family members, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Keep standing in faith, beloved. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that He is moving even when you cannot see it. If you feel led, fast and pray for them, seeking the Lord’s face with even greater intensity. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think!
