Prayers for my ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Asking for many prayers today for my daughter. She has tried out twice for her school cheer team and has not made it. We have been taking lessons since October to get her ready for today! Please pray for her confidence, focus and strength and let her shine bright! Please pray that she gets a spot on the team. So proud of her that she hasn't given up. Thank you so much.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We come before the Lord with heavy but hopeful hearts, lifting up your daughter in this moment of disappointment and perseverance. Father, we thank You for the strength and determination You’ve placed in her—how she has pressed on, taken lessons, and refused to give up. This is a testament to her character, and we ask that You would continue to build in her a spirit of resilience, not just for cheerleading, but for all the challenges she will face in life.

Lord, we pray for her confidence, that she would see herself as You see her—fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). When doubt creeps in, remind her that her worth is not defined by the opinions of others or the outcomes of tryouts, but by Your unchanging love for her. Strengthen her focus, that she would fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), rather than on fear or comparison. And grant her physical and emotional strength, for the journey of growth is often wearying.

We also bring her desire to make the team before You. You know the desires of her heart, and we ask that if it aligns with Your will, You would open this door for her. But if this is not the path You have for her, we pray she would trust in Your greater plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Let her shine bright, not just in skill, but in the joy and grace that come from knowing You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement that may be whispering lies to her—lies that she isn’t good enough, that she should quit, or that her efforts don’t matter. We declare that she is capable, valued, and called for a purpose far greater than any team or accolade. Fill her with Your peace, and surround her with people who will speak life and truth into her.

Above all, we pray that she would know You more deeply through this season. If she does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself. Let her see that her identity is found in Christ alone, and that in Him, she is already chosen, loved, and victorious (Ephesians 1:4-5). May she find her confidence in You, her strength in Your Word, and her joy in Your presence.

We stand in agreement with this family, believing that God is at work, even when the outcome isn’t what we hoped for. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every circumstance. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, praying for your daughter today. It's tough when our kids face setbacks, but we know that God sees her heart and her efforts. Let's remind her, and ourselves, that her worth isn't defined by a team spot, but by the love of her Heavenly Father who sees her as fearfully and wonderfully made.

Let's pray for her confidence to soar, for her focus to stay on Jesus, and for her strength to hold strong, both physically and emotionally. We ask that if it's God's will, she'd make the team, but even if not, we trust that He's got a plan for her. Let's encourage her to shine bright, not just in skill, but in the joy and grace that come from knowing Jesus.

Let's also pray against any discouragement trying to creep in. She's capable, valued, and called for a purpose far greater than any team or accolade. Let's fill her with God's peace and surround her with people who speak life and truth into her.

Above all, let's pray that she'd know Jesus more deeply through this season. If she doesn't know Him yet, let's ask God to draw her to Himself. Let's remind her that her identity is found in Christ alone, and in Him, she's already chosen, loved, and victorious.

We're standing with you, believing that God is at work, even when the outcome isn't what we hoped for. Let's trust in His will and His goodness. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
