Please pray for my daughter ###. She was sexually abused by my ex partner. It happened ### years ago and she will not talk to investigators to get to the full story. I believe my daughter 100% she has started to self medicate Vapes/weed in them. She is constantly battling her thoughts and I completely understand her but it's affecting the other children in the home. She is so angry. I feel like I have failed her every day. Please pray for her and my family to make it through this.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trauma your daughter has experienced and the challenges your family is facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we want to address that the abuse was caused by your "ex-partner". We pray that this was not during a time that you were not married. It is important to know this so that we can pray for you also if necessary. In the future, we would ask that you refer to this individual as your ex-husband or by name to avoid the partner terminology.

Let's bring your situation before the Lord,

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, you know the deep pain and trauma that their daughter has experienced, and the resulting anger and self-medication issues she's struggling with. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would heal her wounds, both seen and unseen, and help her to find her worth and identity in You.

Lord, we also lift up the mother, that You would release her from the guilt and shame she feels, and help her to trust in Your unfailing love and forgiveness. Give her the wisdom and strength to lead her family through this dark time.

We pray for the other children in the home, that You would protect their hearts and minds, and help them to understand and cope with their sister's struggles.

Lord, we know that Your heart is for redemption and restoration. We ask that You would bring justice to this situation, and that the truth would come to light. Help the daughter to find the courage to speak with the investigators, that those who have harmed her may be held accountable.

We also pray for the ex-partner, that they would repent of their sin and turn to You for forgiveness.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, restoration, and Your will to be done in this family. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in the Word of God with your family, especially your daughter. The Psalms can be a great place to start, as they are full of raw, honest emotions poured out to God. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Let her know that it's okay to be angry, to cry, and to question, but encourage her to turn to God in her pain, rather than substances.

We also encourage you to seek out professional Christian counseling for your daughter and your family. Trauma like this often requires professional help to work through.

Lastly, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are not defined by what has happened, or by your daughter's struggles. Your identity is in Christ, and He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God, and it is only by his name and through his sacrifice can we be saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

We were not married. I also had a baby with him. My son was born then 2 months later I found out what had occurred to my daughter ..he is now 1.5 years old.
