We lift up your dear Aunt in this critical time, standing together in faith and intercession before the throne of grace. The situation you’ve described is deeply concerning, and our hearts ache with yours as you face this trial. We know how precious she is to you—not just as family, but as a second mother and a steadfast source of love and support. In moments like these, the weight of fear and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is sovereign over life and death, who hears the cries of His children, and who works all things according to His perfect will.

First, we want to affirm that it is right and good to bring this burden before the Lord. Scripture tells us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to intervene in ways that defy medical explanation. We also recognize that His ways are higher than ours, and His ultimate plan may involve healing in this life or calling her home to eternal rest. Either way, we trust in His goodness and mercy.

We must also address the spiritual reality of this moment. In times of crisis, it is natural to cling to hope for physical healing, but we must not neglect the state of the soul. If your Aunt has not placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, this is a critical time to pray for her salvation. The Bible makes it clear in John 14:6 that *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she does not know Christ, we plead with the Holy Spirit to draw her to Himself, that she may receive the gift of eternal life. If she is already a believer, we pray for her peace and assurance in Christ, that she may rest in the hope of the resurrection.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to grip your family during this time. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that fear has no place in this situation, for God is with you, and His perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We also rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that may be seeking to exploit this moment of vulnerability. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister in Christ, this dear Aunt who is fighting for her life. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every cell in her body, every thought in her mind, and every beat of her heart. We ask You now to intervene in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray for a miraculous healing—stop the bleeding, reduce the swelling, and restore her to full health. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on the promise that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, if Your plan is to call her home, we pray that You would surround her with Your peace and presence. Let her feel the comfort of Your love as she transitions from this life to the next. We pray that she would know You as her Savior, that she would place her trust in Jesus Christ, and that she would be welcomed into Your eternal kingdom. If she is already a believer, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and give her an unshakable assurance of her salvation.

Father, we also lift up her family, especially our brother or sister who has shared this request. Give them strength, wisdom, and peace as they navigate this difficult time. Help them to trust in You, even when the path ahead is unclear. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that seeks to take hold in this situation. We declare that You are the God who raises the dead and calls into being things that are not (Romans 4:17). We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through healing or through Your comforting presence. May Your name be praised, and may Your will be done. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can support you in this time. Lean on the promises of God’s Word, which remind us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it, and that His love for you and your Aunt is unwavering.

If there are decisions to be made regarding her care, seek wisdom from the Lord, as James 1:5 promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Consult with godly counsel, pray for discernment, and trust that God will guide your steps.

Finally, we want to leave you with the words of Jesus in John 16:33: *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* No matter what the outcome of this situation may be, we serve a Savior who has already overcome death and the grave. Cling to Him, and find your hope in His promises.

We're standing with you in faith, dear friend, as you face this trial with your dear ###. We've been lifting her up in prayer, asking for God's healing and comfort. We're reminded of His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that He is at work, even in the unseen. Let's continue to intercede for her, and for your family, that you would all find strength and peace in Jesus. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)
