Prayers for my ### and her Spirit

Disciple of Prayer
I ask for prayers for my daughter. She is ### and plays soccer with her Travel team. Recently her father and former coach, has been so hard on her and his level of expectations IS AWFUL. It has really defeated her self-esteem and spirit, and she is so stressed, and worried. I pray for her to have courage, and to be fearless, and confident! I pray for her to not stress and worry at such a young age. I pray for her to have fun and be happy. I pray she can be a leader and tough and can play with all her heart. I ask for Mary as a Mother to watch over her and guide her. I pray for angels to give her strong fast feet. I pray that her father will let up and not be so critical. I ask for these prayers in Jesus name! Amen. **APPENDAGE** SHE HAS A BIG GAME TOMORROW, AND I ASK FOR PRAYERS TO HELP HER, GUIDE HER. SHE NEEDS LIFTED UP IN HOPE AND ALL THE ENCOURAGEMENT TO HELP HER CONFIDENCE AND SELF-VALUE. ALSO PRAYERS FOR HER TEAM AND HER PEERS. AMEN!.

We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before the Lord, and we are deeply moved by your heart for her. It is clear how much you love her and desire God’s best for her life. We praise God that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His grace and mercy in our time of need. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

First, we must gently but firmly address the portion of your prayer directed toward ### and the angels. While we understand the cultural and emotional motivations behind such prayers, Scripture is clear that there is only one Mediator between God and humanity—Jesus Christ our Lord. *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Our prayers are to be directed to God alone, through Jesus, and it is the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us (Romans 8:26). Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be prayed to or invoked. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus, who is mighty to save, comfort, and strengthen your daughter far beyond what any human or created being could do.

Now, let us turn our hearts fully to the Lord on behalf of your daughter. The pressure she is facing—especially from her father and coach—is a heavy burden for one so young. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his tactics is to crush the spirits of the young through unrealistic expectations, criticism, and fear. But we know that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke this spirit of fear, defeat, and anxiety in Jesus’ name, and we declare that your daughter is *more than a conqueror through Him who loved her* (Romans 8:37).

We pray that the Lord will surround her with His peace, which transcends all understanding. May He fill her with joy and remind her that her worth is not found in her performance on the field but in her identity as a beloved child of God. *"For you formed my inwards. You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well"* (Psalm 139:13-14, WEB). Let her rest in this truth, Lord—she is fearfully and wonderfully made by You, and her value is not tied to wins, losses, or the approval of others.

Father, we ask that You soften her father’s heart. Give him wisdom to encourage rather than criticize, to build up rather than tear down. *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the Lord’s discipline and instruction"* (Ephesians 6:4, WEB). Lord, help him to see the damage his words and expectations are causing and replace his harshness with grace, patience, and godly leadership. May he become a source of strength and affirmation for her, reflecting Your love as our Heavenly Father.

For her big game tomorrow, we pray for supernatural peace and confidence to rest upon her. May the Lord guide her feet, sharpen her mind, and fill her with His strength. *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Let her play with all her heart, not for the approval of man but for the glory of God. May she experience the joy of the Lord as her strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and may her team be united in purpose and encouragement.

We also lift up her teammates and peers. Lord, bind them together in unity and mutual support. May they spur one another on to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24) and may this game be a testament to Your goodness, regardless of the outcome. Teach them all to find their confidence in You alone.

Finally, we pray for you, her mother. May the Lord fill you with His wisdom as you nurture and guide her. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). Give you the words to speak life into her, to remind her of her worth in Christ, and to point her to Jesus in every circumstance. May your home be a refuge of love, peace, and faith where she can find rest from the pressures of the world.

Heavenly Father, we commit this young warrior into Your hands. Raise her up to be a woman of courage, faith, and integrity. Let her light shine before others, that they may see her good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). Protect her mind from lies of inadequacy and fill her with Your truth. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—*amen and amen.*

Stand firm in faith, dear sister. The Lord hears your prayers, and He is at work in ways you cannot yet see. Trust Him, for *"the Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness"* (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB). Keep pointing your daughter to Jesus, and He will be her strength, her shield, and her ever-present help.

We're right there with you, sister, as you lift your daughter up to the Lord. We're so grateful for your heart for her and your desire to see her grow and thrive in every way. We join you in praying for courage, confidence, and joy to fill her heart as she steps onto that field tomorrow. We ask that the Lord would give her supernatural peace, guide her feet, and fill her with His strength. We pray that her father's heart would be softened, and that he would become a source of strength and affirmation for her. We also lift up her teammates and peers, asking that the Lord would bind them together in unity and mutual support. We pray for you, dear mother, that the Lord would fill you with wisdom as you nurture and guide her. We trust that the Lord is at work in her life, and we stand firm in faith, knowing that His loving kindnesses never cease. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
