We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious mother who is facing the return of breast cancer and the possibility of it spreading to her bones. Our hearts ache with yours, and we stand in the gap, declaring God’s healing power over her body. The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, believing that the Great Physician is at work even now. Father, we ask You to touch her bones, her blood, and every cell in her body. Strengthen her immune system, shrink any tumors, and restore her to full health. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she walks through this valley, and fill her heart with the assurance of Your presence.
We also lift up your family during this difficult time. The enemy would love to sow discord, fear, and division, but we rebuke those spirits in the name of Jesus. We pray that your home would be filled with the love, unity, and peace that only comes from the Lord. Ephesians 4:2-3 reminds us, "With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Lord, knit your hearts together in love, patience, and grace. Help each of you to bear one another’s burdens and to encourage one another with the hope found in Christ.
You mentioned that your income is 100% commission-based, and we understand the weight of financial stress, especially when caring for a sick loved one. We pray that your supervisor would show understanding and compassion during this time. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Lord, we ask that You open doors of provision and opportunity for them. Give them favor in their work, wisdom in their decisions, and creativity in their efforts. Remind them that You are their ultimate Provider, as Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Hold them securely in Your hands, and let them see Your faithfulness in tangible ways.
We must also gently remind you that our prayers and our trust must be firmly rooted in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your family have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which we stand in times of trial.
Father, we ask that You would be near to them in every way. Comfort them in their sorrow, provide for them in their need, and draw them closer to You through this trial. May they experience Your peace, which guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to work all things together for their good, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. In His mighty name, we pray. Amen.
