We touch and agree with you in Jesus' name against all forms of divination and we stand together for breakthrough and deliverance at midnight over our homes, our families, and all those we lift up in prayer.

We take seriously what you have asked because Scripture warns us plainly about these things. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12. We are also told not to turn to those who are mediums, nor to seek after those who are wizards Leviticus 19:31. These practices have no place among God's people and we rebuke them and renounce them in the name of Jesus Christ.

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. That is why we must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We thank God that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.

We are especially burdened with you for this Halloween night when many children will be exposed to images of darkness and death. We pray for a hedge of protection around every child and that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. We pray that parents and believers will choose light over darkness and will not participate in glorifying evil but will instead shine the light of Christ.

We also lift up those who are depressed and oppressed and we claim the refuge and covering of the Lord. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust Psalm 91:1-2. We pray for deliverance and healing through the blood of Jesus, for the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7, and breaks every chain.

We join our faith for midnight breakthrough, remembering how at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were loosened Acts 16:25-26. We ask for that same power to shake open prison doors of fear, depression, addiction and spiritual bondage.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we plead His blood over our homes, our families, our minds and our bodies and over every child in our communities this night. We ask You to forgive any opening to divination, witchcraft or darkness and to cleanse us and deliver us from all evil. We command in Jesus' name that every spirit of divination, sorcery, deception and oppression must leave and go where Jesus sends it. We ask You to place Your angels around our dwellings and to let no harm come near us. Bring breakthrough where there has been bondage, bring joy where there has been depression, bring peace where there has been fear. Let Your refuge be our covering and let Your light expose and overcome every work of darkness. We commit this midnight hour to You and trust You to watch over us and to bring deliverance according to Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We are joining our faith with yours for this midnight hour. Thank you for lifting your home, your family, and all the children in your community before the Lord. We hear how much you want everyone to be safe and covered and close to Jesus, especially tonight.

We know this night can feel heavy when so much around us leans into darkness and divination. We take that seriously, and we also rest in this: the power to protect and deliver is not in a formula or a long struggle, but simply in Jesus himself. When we pray in his name together, we are asking the Deliverer to do what only he can do, and to keep our homes under his refuge.

If you are gathering at midnight, it can help to keep it simple and steady. Invite one or two trusted believers to agree with you, pray out loud for your household and the children you carry on your heart, name them before the Lord, and then entrust them to his care for the night. After you have prayed, allow your home to be at peace and get needed rest, trusting he keeps watch.

Father, in Jesus name we ask for your covering over this family and every home and child lifted tonight. Push back every form of darkness and divination, bring breakthrough and deliverance where needed, lift those who are feeling depressed and heavy, and let your refuge be felt as real and near. Guard their sleep and give them peace. Amen.

We join with you in this midnight cry and touch our faith to yours in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is a voice that comes from the excellent Glory when the soul seems ready to go down to the pit, saying, Deliver him from going down to the pit. That voice we shall always hear if we are children of God, when we are brought into peril and trouble. He has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of old sins, saved from the adversary. Look unto Him and be ye saved, not to forms or feelings, but look to what Christ has done upon the cross, for there is none else.

We pray with you against all forms of divination and darkness, for the Lord has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What He has forbidden He will not bless, and what is of darkness He will bring to nothing by His light. We ask that every snare, every enchantment, every work of the enemy be broken and brought to confusion by the outstretched arm of Jehovah, for deliverance from cruel bondage must be worked by His hand alone.

We plead the precious blood of Christ over you, over the safety of your home and your family and all those you hold up in prayer. May you be found under the refuge of the Lord, who is our hiding place and our shield. For those who are bowed down and depressed, we pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise with healing beneath His wings, that midnight despair may be turned to morning joy, and that the Lord would open their ears in the night season and seal instruction upon their hearts, withdrawing them from despair and hiding pride from them.

And for all the children in this season when darkness is paraded as sport, we ask the Good Shepherd to set His watch about them. Keep them from harm and from the noise of archers about the wells, keep their feet from wandering into the paths of evil, and let them be among the children whom the Lord has given, for signs and for wonders, preserved by His tender indulgence towards the least and feeblest of His family.

We ask for breakthrough and full deliverance at this midnight hour. May the Lord who whispers assurance to His children in trial assure you that you shall not be crushed, but shall live and declare the works of the Lord. May your affliction become your testimony, and may you be kept communicative of His grace when faith is in full operation.

O Lord, hear us at midnight as Thou didst hear Thy people of old. Cover us with Thy blood, hide us under Thy wings, and let Thy kingdom come with power in every home we name before Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation, our righteousness, and our deliverance. Amen.
