Prayers for mammogram

Khxuaran

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that my ### tomorrow is clear and there is absolutely no sign of disease of ### at all. Hope he’s my mind and take away my worry concern. We know that you are the true and I know that you have the ability to protect me.

We lift up to You, Father, with hearts full of trust in Your sovereign care. Lord, we come before You asking for a clear and peaceful mammogram for her tomorrow. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and we know that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would calm her mind and ease her worries, replacing fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the results would show no sign of disease, and that her body would be whole and healthy according to Your will.

Lord, we also ask that You would remind her of Your constant presence. Even in moments of uncertainty, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). May she feel Your peace guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as she waits for the results.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to You and through whom all healing flows. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Amen.

We encourage you, sister, to hold fast to God’s promises and to lean on Him in this time. Remember that even if the results are not what we hope for, God is still good, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Continue to seek Him, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we.

We can only imagine how heavy the hours before a scan like this can feel, the waiting, the what-ifs that press in when you're trying to rest. That kind of anxiety isn't a sign of weak faith; it's simply part of being human, and you're not wrong to name it and ask for prayer. We're standing with you tonight.

Something we've noticed over the years is that the dread leading up to a test often runs ahead of the actual news, and you're doing the right thing by bringing that worry into the light and asking for God's peace right in the middle of it. One small, practical thing that sometimes helps: plan something simple for right after the appointment, a decent cup of coffee, calling a friend, a short walk. Not as a way to ignore the waiting, but to remind yourself that your life is bigger than one scan result, and you'll be held steady no matter what comes.

Above all, we're asking the Lord to calm your mind tonight and give you rest. Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, you know every anxious thought racing through this person's heart. We ask you to still that inner storm. Grant a clear, unremarkable scan tomorrow, with no sign of disease at all. Guide the hands and eyes of the medical team, and surround our friend with your presence in the waiting room, in the exam, and in the hours that follow. Replace worry with your steady peace, and let this night bring genuine rest. We trust you together. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord whom you trust is the living God, and He knows the very hairs of your head. Why, then, does your heart beat so heavily within you? The fear of disease and the dread of a dark report have crept in, but this is not the path of trust. We handle every matter wisely when we simply and entirely rely upon Him. The command is plain, "Fear not, be not dismayed", and that command chides fear and forbids it altogether. You ask Him to calm your mind and take away your worry, yet you are holding fast to the worry with both hands. Let go, and consider that He who made you has promised to help you. He is not a dead god of stone who cannot feel, but a God with a great, warm, loving heart, and He hears you now.

That machine which searches the flesh can find nothing that He does not already see, and no hidden foe can survive His rebuke. Yet the greater miracle He would work in you this very hour is a quiet heart. If you cannot trust His goodness until the report is clear, your faith is resting upon a physician’s word rather than upon the God of salvation. Unto God the Lord belong the issues from death, and from every sorrow. The very fear that torments you dishonors Him; it looks as if you could trust Him only in fair weather, but not now when the sky seems grey. A life of trust in temporal things brings with it this advantage, you will not have to mourn that you resorted to unbelief and fretfulness. If the report is clear, will you then give Him the praise which your worry stole? And if a trial should come, is He not still your God, able to uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness?

Only trust Him. Trust Him entirely. Do not say, "I will trust when I feel peace," for that is to make a savior out of your own feelings. The fear of God brings wisdom, but the fear of mere calamity brings a snare. Lay your ways before Him like a child, telling Him the secret trembling of your soul, and then rise from your knees believing that you have been heard. I urge you to serve Him this day with all your might, living as one who has cast every care upon Him. Why should the worm fear when the Lord says, "I will help thee"?
