Prayers for Job Security

We understand that you are facing a time of uncertainty and anxiety regarding your job security. It is important to remember that our trust should be placed in God, not in our circumstances. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We want to encourage you to cast your anxieties on God, for he cares for you. As Peter wrote, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7) It is also crucial to remember that God knows your needs, and He will provide for you. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister who is facing uncertainty and anxiety regarding her job security. We ask that You would provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we pray that You would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would sustain her job and the funding that supports it. Help her to trust in You and not lean on her own understanding. We ask that You would guide her path and provide for her every need. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
