May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for prayer has been heard and I thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. To carry intrusive thoughts day after day is truly wearying, and it is understandable that you say it gets old after a while. You are not alone in this struggle, and God sees the weariness it brings.

Scripture speaks of how when two thoughts wrestle within us, we need an umpire to decide between them. Do not let anger or fear or shame sit as judge over your heart, but let the peace of God rule there. That peace is not the fleeting peace that comes from circumstances, but the steadfast peace that comes from God Himself, who has made peace with us through Christ. When an unwanted thought rises up and another thought tells you to despair or to condemn yourself, ask that the peace of Christ would give the prize to what is true and enduring, and put to shame what is false and accusing.

The mind can become turbid like a disordered eye that mistakes what it sees. When the understanding is clouded by a confusion of thoughts, it cannot see clearly. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace. This does not come from our own strength. As grace works in the weakest of us, it can give birth to thoughts that our own understanding could never produce on its own. God is able to make the mind sound again and to restore clear vision.

Those thorns that choke the word also corrupt our thoughts, and they grow both from indulgence and from anxiety. Either one alone can overwhelm the soul like a wave over a small boat, and when both come together the swell is even higher. So we are called to burn up those thorns, to turn away from what feeds restlessness, and to nourish what brings life. This happens as we keep ourselves in the Word, in prayer, in fellowship with other believers, and in simple faithfulness each day.

I will pray for you now.

Father, we thank You that You know every thought and that nothing is hidden from Your sight, yet You love us with an everlasting love through Jesus Christ. We ask for Your peace to rule in this heart that feels tired from intrusive thoughts. Grant clarity where there is confusion, calm where there is turmoil, and the strength of Your Spirit where human strength is small. Help this dear one to know that these intrusive thoughts do not define them before You, and teach them to take every thought captive in obedience to Christ. Fill the mind with what is true and good, with life and peace, and renew it day by day by Your grace. Give rest, give hope, and give the comfort of a clear conscience before You. Sustain them with Your presence and surround them with wise and loving support. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

Continue to bring this to the Lord as often as it comes, and do not bear it in isolation. Share it with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can walk with you, pray with you, and encourage you in the Word. If these thoughts become heavy or overwhelming, seek help from a counselor as well. God is faithful, and He will not leave you without His peace.
