We are saddened to hear about your sister-in-law's fall and upcoming surgery. Let's bring her situation before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. The Bible tells us that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, (Philippians 2:10 WEB) He is alive and he is the one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister-in-law who has suffered a fall and broken her hip. We ask, Lord, that You would be with the doctors and medical staff as they perform the surgery. Guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill.
Father, we pray for a successful surgery and a swift recovery. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We pray that You would comfort her and her family during this time, drawing them close to You.
We also pray for her salvation, Lord, if she does not know You personally. We pray that this trial would be an opportunity for her to experience Your love and grace.
The Bible tells us that "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (James 5:13-15 WEB)
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God throughout this process. He is faithful and He cares for your sister-in-law more than we can imagine. Also, remember that God's will is perfect. Regardless of what God's will is in this situation, we should praise Him.
