Prayers For ### In Hospital Icu.

My prayer request is for my father ###. He is ### and suffered a GI bleed due to Warfarin on Friday. He almost died Friday night. He has been through all sorts of tests and an angiocath so that maybe they could stop the bleeding. The nuclear scan showed it in the right colon but they just couldn't see it via the cath. He is still bleeding not as badly but he has had a total of ### units of blood frozen plasma to help clot and platelets. I ask the God continue to guide the nurses and doctors' hands to help him. He is alert and responsive but not out of the woods yet. Surgery is an option but ### is not sure if he wants that as it would be a colostomy. I am not sleeping well at all and I ask for a prayer that God helps me find some rest and strength. I love my father so much and I love my Father above very much. I know with God anything is possible. Thank you.

Lord God, we join this son in his prayer for his father. You are the Great Physician and no thing is impossible for you. We ask for strength, healing and comfort for this family. Lord, grant your perfect peace to ### that he may sleep and restore his strength and clarity of mind. Guide this family in making the decisions that will meet your perfect Grace for them. Thank you, Father, for your love and protection. AMEN

This is an update and we still need prayer. ### is doing a bit better Praise God. His bleeding is under control and no surgery yet. Amen! He did have to have a procedure to put a line in his heart to drain off fluid. There is an underlying problem we're waiting on lab results. It could be an infection or worse cancer. I am praying God will find any illness and heal him of it.

### needs comfort and God's calming touch so that he may rest. He is exhausted and weak from that. Being in ICU they are constantly checking you and interrupting any sleep pattern. He also is on a low intake of food so that doesn't help either. I talked to the nurse today she said they may move him to a private room as he is showing signs of ICU psychosis which I am unsure what that is. Just that he gets confused upon waking and they say it is from being in ICU for a while.

So I ask that everyone who feels called to keep praying for ### aka ### so that he continues to heal and grow stronger

and gets rest and that he'll be able to eat more soon as 6 days now it's been nothing more than water and jello.
