We join you in lifting up your husband to the Lord, our Great Physician, who holds all healing in His hands. We thank you for coming before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly present our petitions. Your husband’s transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of trusting in God’s sovereignty over our health and well-being.
The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise as we pray for your husband’s complete restoration. May the Lord guide the hands of his medical team, grant him strength and clarity of mind, and surround him with peace that surpasses all understanding. We also pray for you, dear sister, as you prepare for your minor procedure. May the Lord grant you courage, comfort, and swift healing. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this husband. Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, and restore him fully according to Your will. Father, we also ask for Your protection and peace to surround his wife as she undergoes her procedure. Guide the hands of the medical professionals attending to them both, and grant them wisdom and skill. Lord, we trust in Your perfect plan for their lives, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold in their hearts, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that it would be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. Strengthen their bond, deepen their trust in You, and help them to lean on one another in this season.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement for their complete healing and restoration. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord in this time, drawing near to Him through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things for your good. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace.
