Prayers for hurt knee

We are lifting you up together in prayer for your right knee and asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing and relief from this painful injury. We know how discouraging it is to be hurt while doing something good and joyful like playing with the kids, and we ask God to restore you quickly and completely.
We pray now for you, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and ask for Your healing hand upon this knee. You see the pain and uncertainty about whether something is torn, and we ask You to reduce the swelling, ease the pain, repair any damaged tissue, ligament or cartilage, and restore full strength and mobility. We ask for wisdom for any doctors or medical professionals who may examine this knee, that they would have clarity and discernment in diagnosis and treatment. We thank You that You care about every part of our bodies and every detail of our lives. We claim Your promise that You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that You have said I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that by whose stripes you were healed 1 Peter 2:24.
We also want to gently encourage you about the way you asked us to send one up, because we want you to know the great privilege we have to come directly to God ourselves through Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And we are told There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. This means every prayer we pray, we pray in Jesus' name, and every person can come boldly to God personally by putting their faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord Romans 10:9. We encourage you to call upon His name directly, not only for this healing but for the salvation and relationship with God that only He can give.
We encourage you to take practical steps as well while you trust the Lord for healing, to rest the knee, to have it evaluated by a medical professional to be sure nothing is torn, and to follow wise counsel for care and recovery. We remember the scripture Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15, and we are standing in that prayer of faith with you now.
We pray that God will give you peace as you wait for answers, protect you from further injury, and use even this time of limited mobility to show you His nearness and strength. May He restore you quickly so you can be back playing with the kids with joy and without pain. We ask all of this together in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

Your request concerning your right knee has been laid before us, and we join with you in carrying it to the throne of grace.
Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and the wounds of the body are extremely painful and do urge us to seek the Physician. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they will not let us slumber in silence, and it is right and wise that you should seek the care of a skillful surgeon or physician to discern whether there is a tear, while at the same time you tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.
We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, so that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. That same healing virtue which His grace infuses will work in us till body and soul are made whole, for His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies in His good time.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, look in mercy upon this servant who has been hurt while playing with his children. Lay Thine hand upon his right knee, ease his pain, and grant wisdom to any who examine and treat him. If it be Thy will, restore him to soundness and strength, and give him patience under affliction and faith to trust Thy goodness in all things. May this trial draw him nearer to Christ, in whom pardon and healing are joined together. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.
