We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is enduring the trials of COPD and repeated hospitalizations. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your complete healing—body, mind, and soul—for this precious child of Yours. Strengthen her lungs, Lord, and restore her breathing to fullness. Ease her distress and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise of restoration.
We also lift up the one supporting her, Lord, who is carrying his own burdens while tending to hers. Father, grant him strength and endurance, for You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Sustain him in body and spirit, and remind him that he does not carry this load alone. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Provide him with moments of rest and renewal, and surround them both with Your love and care.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and fear in Jesus’ name. We command every attack against their health to cease, and we declare that this trial will not overcome them but will instead draw them closer to You. Father, we ask that You would be glorified in their lives through this season, and that Your name would be praised for Your faithfulness and mercy.
Lord, if this sister does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that she would come to understand the depth of Your love for her. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). We ask that she would surrender her life to You, trusting in Your sacrifice for her sins and receiving the gift of eternal life. For those who believe in You, Lord, will never perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
We pray for wisdom for the medical team treating her, that You would guide their hands and decisions. May they be instruments of Your healing power. We also ask for financial provision if there are burdens in that area, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We declare victory over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
