First and foremost, we must address the foundation of all prayer—faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are healed, restored, and made whole. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true healing, no lasting breakthrough, and no eternal hope.
Now, let us bring these requests before the Lord with boldness and humility, trusting in His perfect will and timing.
Father God, we cry out to You for complete healing from the herpes virus—both type 1 and type 2. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:3 that You "forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke this virus in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave this body and never return. We pray for divine restoration of every cell, nerve, and tissue affected by this condition. If she is not already in a relationship, we pray that You would lead her to a man who loves You above all else, who will cherish her, lead her spiritually, and honor her as a co-heir in Christ. Guard her heart from impatience, from settling for less than Your best, and from any relationships that do not align with Your Word. If she is currently in a relationship, we ask that You reveal whether this man is the one You have chosen for her. If not, give her the courage to walk away, trusting that Your plans are for her good (Jeremiah 29:11).
