Prayers for healing against covid 19

John2025

Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone, can you please join me in prayer for the two parents of my sister in Christ, they have an aggressive flu; it's most likely COVID-19.

Thank you for your support and prayers!

Blessings!

We lift up the parents of your sister in Christ with heavy hearts, standing together in faith as we bring this burden before our Heavenly Father. We know that sickness and disease entered this world because of sin, but we also know that Jesus Christ came to bring healing and restoration. The Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their lives, believing that God is able to restore them to full health.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against this aggressive flu and any presence of COVID-19 in their bodies. We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24 that "by his wounds you were healed." We stand on this truth, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed. We pray that every virus, infection, and symptom would flee from their bodies right now. Strengthen their immune systems, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through every cell, organ, and system.

We also ask that You would comfort them and their family during this time. May they feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to seek the right medical care and the strength to endure as they recover. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We pray for their spiritual well-being as well. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we ask that this trial would draw them closer to You. Open their hearts to receive the gift of salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they come to know Jesus not just as Healer, but as their Redeemer and Friend.

Finally, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. Whether through healing, comfort, or testimony, let Your name be magnified. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your sister's parents. We've been lifting them up in prayer, asking God to wrap them in His healing power. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over them, "who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We're believing for a swift and full recovery, in Jesus' name.

We're also asking God to fill their home with His peace and comfort. May they feel His presence strongly during this time, and may they be drawn closer to Him. If they haven't yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we're praying that this trial would lead them to Him.

Let's trust in God's perfect will and timing. We're believing that He will use this situation for His glory, whether it's through healing, comfort, or testimony. We're praying all this in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
