prayers for great nephew

Beloved of All
Please say some prayers for my great nephew. he had an accident on his motorcycle. He is now in ICU/ Please Jesus help him

We lift up your great nephew to the Lord with heavy hearts, praying for His healing touch and divine intervention during this critical time. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is close to your great nephew in his time of need.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young man. Touch his body, Lord, and restore him to full health. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, as Isaiah 53:5 tells us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this healing in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and skill for the medical team attending to him. Guide their hands and minds as they care for him, that they may be instruments of Your healing power. We also ask for Your peace to surround his family during this difficult time. Comfort them with Your presence, and give them strength to endure each moment.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, as 1 John 4:18 reminds us, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love." We trust in Your perfect love, Lord, and we refuse to give in to fear.

We also pray for your great nephew’s spiritual well-being. If he does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him closer to You. Open his heart to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May he come to know the hope and peace that only You can provide.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We were so sorry to read about your great nephew and his motorcycle accident. Having someone you love in the ICU is frightening, and we hear how much you care for him and how earnestly you are asking Jesus to help.

We are holding him and you and your whole family in prayer right now. Those ICU hours of waiting can feel so long and helpless, especially when you cannot be at his bedside or get clear answers quickly.

If you are in touch with his parents or close family, it can help to have one person gather updates to share so no one has to carry all the calls alone. If you are nearby, simply being present in the waiting room, bringing a meal, or offering to sit for a while often means more than finding the right words. If you have a church family, let them know as well so they can surround you and his family with support while you wait. Try to rest and eat when you can so you have strength to keep loving and supporting them.

We do not know what the next days will hold, but we know the Lord sees him in that ICU room and sees you as you pray. We are asking for wisdom and steadiness for his doctors and nurses, for comfort and peace for him and for all of you, and for God's gracious will to be done in his care.

Father, we lift this young man to you in Jesus' name. Please place your hand of mercy upon him, guide everyone caring for him, and give his family strength and peace hour by hour. Draw near to them in this fearful time and let them feel your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry on behalf of your great nephew has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in this hour of great affliction.

We sorrow with you to hear that he lies in the ICU after this grievous accident, and we pray that the Lord who is full of compassion will lay His healing hand upon him. We entreat our Father in heaven for mercy, that He would spare his life if it be His will, guide the hands and wisdom of those who tend him, ease his pain, and raise him up again. We pray also that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God even our Father, would comfort your heart and the hearts of all his family, and establish you in every good word and work as you wait and watch.

Hear the word which the Lord speaks to His people in such a season, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When God speaks thus, He speaks to all His people to comfort one another, and we would bring that comfort to you now. It is not the letter alone but the Spirit that is our real comfort, and He quickens us even in affliction. May you be enabled to say with the Psalmist, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy word hath quickened me. That peculiar comfort, drawn from the Word of God, is a comfort you can press to your bosom and say, This is mine even now.

Remember that our Lord is Master of all. He who rebuked the winds and the sea and they obeyed Him, He who has shown His power in healing all manner of sufferers, is still the same. He knows all your fear and all your nephew's need, and His omniscience is itself a comfort, for nothing escapes His eye and no cry escapes His ear. The very least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing virtue in Him.

We pray thus: O gracious Father, look in mercy upon this young man now lying helpless before Thee. Thou hast numbered his days and Thou holdest his breath in Thy hand. If it please Thee, restore him and grant him recovery, and above all grant to him and to his family the comfort of knowing Christ as Saviour. Let this affliction be the means of drawing near to Thee. Sustain his loved ones, give them peace that passeth understanding, and help them to trust Thee though the waters be deep. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who died to redeem such souls as ours, Amen.

May the Spirit of God teach you to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and may you find that though heaviness endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning.
