🙏 Prayers for Government and National Situations...

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
Father, thank You in advance knowing we will see the answers to these prayers:

*Wisdom and guidance for our President, Gov't and the ability to work together and conduct themselves with wisdom and be more civilized in their dealings

*Fostering of godly alliances to withstand and resist the "troublemakers" of the world in Asia, Europe and Middle East

*We should step in and end the murder of Christians in Africa (### specifically).

*Protection from assassination attempts. Give purity in service details

*Wisdom in dealing with cartels -- May you rebuke them sharply and may they put their "talents" to more productive uses and earn money in honest ways

*Protection from national and international terrorism, 2 Thes 3:2

*Gospel Laborers for the harvest, Matt 9:38, preparation, provision, protection, proclamation, preservation of new disciples, purity in teaching, 1 Tim 4:16.

Thank you for Your Son's Ultimate Return and may we stay alert praying at all times to be able to escape all that is about to come upon the face of the whole earth and to stand before The Son of Man, Luke 21:36

Phil 4:6-7, Thank You in the Name of Jesus.

We join with you in lifting these critical needs before the Lord, recognizing that He alone is sovereign over nations, leaders, and the affairs of men. Your heart for our government, the persecution of believers, and the spread of the Gospel aligns with Scripture’s call for us to intercede for kings and all in authority, that we may live peaceful and godly lives (1 Timothy 2:1-2). It is right to approach the throne of grace with boldness, not in our own name or merit, but in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12).

Your request for wisdom and unity among our leaders is urgent, for when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan (Proverbs 29:2). We pray that our President and government officials would be granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that they may walk worthy of their calling with all humility, gentleness, and patience (Ephesians 1:17, 4:1-3). The division and incivility we see too often are not of God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Let us pray that their hearts would be turned toward righteousness, that they would seek first the kingdom of God in their decisions, and that they would work together for the good of the nation, not for personal gain or political power. May they remember that they are accountable to the Lord for their stewardship, and may they fear Him above man (Proverbs 9:10, Romans 14:12).

The fostering of godly alliances to resist the troublemakers of the world is a prayer that echoes the heart of God, who calls His people to be a light in the darkness. We are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, but we are to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to destroy (2 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Peter 5:8). The nations that rage and the peoples who plot in vain will ultimately be brought low by the Lord (Psalm 2:1-3). We pray for discernment for our leaders to recognize true allies—those who uphold justice, righteousness, and the dignity of human life—and to stand resolutely against those who promote evil. May the Lord frustrate the plans of the wicked and establish the work of our hands (Psalm 33:10-11, Psalm 90:17).

The persecution and murder of our brothers and sisters in Christ, particularly in Africa, must grieve the heart of God. Jesus warned us that in this world, we will have tribulation, but He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Still, we are not to be silent in the face of such evil. The blood of the martyrs cries out to the Lord (Genesis 4:10, Revelation 6:9-10), and we join that cry, asking for justice and protection. We pray for the persecuted church to be strengthened in faith, to endure with joy, and to forgive their persecutors as Christ forgave us (Matthew 5:44, Acts 7:60). We also pray for the Lord to raise up bold advocates in positions of power who will act on behalf of the oppressed, for He is a defender of the fatherless and the widow (Psalm 68:5). May the hands of the wicked be tied, and may their plans be exposed and thwarted. Let the Lord arise, and let His enemies be scattered (Psalm 68:1).

Protection from assassination attempts and purity in service are vital, for the enemy seeks to destroy those in authority. We pray a hedge of protection around our leaders, their families, and all who serve in government, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord expose any hidden plots and bring them to nothing. We also pray for integrity and holiness in their personal lives, for a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). Let them serve with clean hands and pure hearts, seeking not their own glory but the glory of God (Psalm 24:3-4). If there is any corruption or secret sin, we pray for conviction by the Holy Spirit, that they would repent and turn to righteousness (Psalm 51:10).

The scourge of cartels and the evil they perpetrate through drug trafficking, human trafficking, and violence is a blight on our land. These are not merely criminal organizations but spiritual strongholds of darkness that must be torn down (2 Corinthians 10:4). We pray for the Lord to rebuke these evil forces sharply, to bring their deeds into the light, and to dismantle their operations. We also pray for the salvation of those ensnared in these organizations, that they would encounter the transforming power of the Gospel and turn from their wicked ways. May the Lord redirect their skills and resources toward honest labor, that they may provide for their families in ways that honor God (Ephesians 4:28). Let the fear of the Lord fall upon them, and may they realize that it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).

Protection from national and international terrorism is a pressing need in these last days. We are warned that in the end times, men will be lovers of self, without self-control, brutal, and treacherous (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Terrorism is a manifestation of this spirit, and we must stand against it in prayer. The Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for the exposure and thwarting of every terrorist plot, for the protection of innocent lives, and for the salvation of those who have been deceived into such evil. May the Lord turn their hearts to Himself, that they may become instruments of peace rather than destruction (Isaiah 2:4). We also pray for our law enforcement and military personnel, that they would be given wisdom, courage, and divine protection as they stand on the front lines against these threats.

Your prayer for Gospel laborers is a cry that resonates with the heart of Jesus, who looked upon the multitudes and had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:36-38). The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. We pray that the Lord would raise up faithful men and women who will go into the harvest fields, both at home and abroad, with the message of salvation. May they be equipped with the full armor of God, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). We pray for their preparation, that they would be rooted in the Word and filled with the Holy Spirit; for their provision, that the Lord would supply all their needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19); for their protection, that they would be kept from the evil one (John 17:15); and for the preservation of new disciples, that they would grow in faith and be established in the truth (Colossians 2:6-7). May their teaching be pure, unadulterated by the doctrines of men, and may they preach Christ crucified, the power and wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:23-24).

Finally, we echo your prayer for the Lord’s ultimate return. Jesus warned us to watch and pray always, that we may be counted worthy to escape the things that are coming and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36). The signs of the times are all around us, and we must be vigilant, sober-minded, and filled with the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8). Let us not be weighed down with the cares of this life but fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May we live in such a way that we are ready for His appearing, with our lamps trimmed and burning (Matthew 25:1-13).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are the God of all creation, that You hold the hearts of kings in Your hand, and that You are able to turn them wherever You will (Proverbs 21:1). We ask for Your mercy upon our nation and upon the nations of the world. Grant our leaders wisdom that comes from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). Unify them in purpose and in truth, that they may govern with justice and righteousness.

Lord, we pray for the protection of Your people around the world, especially those who are suffering persecution for the sake of Your name. Strengthen them, provide for them, and let their testimony be a light in the darkness. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and bring their evil deeds to an end. Save those who are lost in violence and crime, and turn their hearts to You.

We ask for Your hand of protection over our nation, that You would guard us from terrorism, from internal strife, and from the schemes of the enemy. Raise up laborers for the harvest, and let the Gospel go forth with power and signs following. Prepare Your church for the days ahead, that we may stand firm in the faith, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Father, we long for the return of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Keep us watchful, prayerful, and ready. Let us not grow weary in doing good, but let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come quickly.

We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
