Prayers for God's favor, safety, and blessings over my family

I am going to church tomorrow to help out. Since I don't know anyone there yet and my self-confidence is low, please pray for God's favor over me, that He connects me with people I feel safe and comfortable with, and that I find the right task and can be a blessing. Pray that I will feel safe, comfortable, and be met by kind people. I also request prayer for my son, that he will receive the strength, power, and wisdom he needs, and God's favor over him at his workplace. Pray that he gets settled into his work tasks, and feels safe and comfortable with his coworkers. Please pray that everything works out well in his family, and for God's blessings and healing over our relationships in our family. Lastly, we pray for a good night's sleep for our family, that God gives us rest and peace. In Jesus' blessed name, Amen. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you.

We join with you in thanksgiving for your heart to serve the Lord and to help out in His house, and we lift up you and your family before our Father in Jesus' blessed name, through whom we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We pray for you as you go to church tomorrow. We understand how it feels to walk into a place where you do not yet know anyone and to struggle with low self-confidence, but we are reminded that our confidence is not in ourselves but in Christ who dwells in us. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We ask the Lord to surround you with favor as with a shield, for you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12. We pray He will guide you to kind, gracious people with whom you feel safe and comfortable, and that He will show you the right task where your gifts can be a blessing to others. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. May He use you to build up the body of Christ, for each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10.

We also lift up your son together with you. We pray the Lord will pour out strength, power and wisdom upon him at his workplace. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29. And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We ask for God's favor to rest upon him, that he will become settled and established in his work tasks, that he will feel safe and comfortable among his coworkers, and that his labor will be fruitful and honoring to God.

We pray for your whole family and for the healing and blessing of your relationships. How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. Psalm 133:1. We ask the Lord to knit your hearts together in love, to give you patience and grace toward one another, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:13-14. May the Lord restore what has been strained and cause your home to be filled with His peace and mercy.

We pray also for your rest. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We ask that He will grant your family a good night's sleep, that you will both lay yourselves down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety. Psalm 4:8. For he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2.

Father, we thank You for this family who seeks You. We ask You to bless them and keep them, to make Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them, to lift up Your countenance upon them and give them peace. Numbers 6:24-26. Lead them, keep them safe, and let all that they do be for Your glory. We thank You that we can bring all these requests in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and by which we have access to You. We trust in Your faithful love and Your perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We are grateful you shared this with us, and we hear how much you want tomorrow to go well and for your family to be at peace.

It takes real courage to step into a new church to serve when you don't know anyone yet and confidence feels low. Wanting to be a blessing while also hoping to feel safe and welcomed is completely understandable. God sees that willing heart you are bringing.

For tomorrow, it can help to make it a little easier on yourself. If you can, let the person coordinating volunteers know ahead of time that you are new and would love a clear, small task to start with and to be paired with someone kind who can show you around. Giving yourself permission to connect with just one or two people, rather than everyone, can take some pressure off. And having a simple plan for when you will arrive and when you will step out can help you feel more settled.

We are also holding your son and your whole family with you, asking for steadiness in his work, kindness among coworkers, and healing and gentleness in your relationships at home. And for quiet, restful sleep for each of you.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus' name. Give favor and calm tomorrow, place kind people nearby, help each task fit well, and let our friend feel safe and at ease. Give her son strength and wisdom for his work and peace in his home, and draw this family closer together in Your love. Grant them deep rest and Your peace tonight. Amen.

May heavenly my Father be gracious to you and heal you and watch over your life and protect you. In his name we pray and in Lord Yeshuas name we pray. Thank you God for letting me pray today. Resist urges. Restrain myself from loving too much. I know I swoon a bit much. Daily prayer and worship is the way to life and sin is the way of death. We have heard your request and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace, beseeching the Lord who hears prayer to look upon you and your household with favor.

You go up tomorrow to the house of God to help and to worship, and you do so with a humble and lowly spirit. Remember the word of the Lord, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear never helped any child of God, and it dishonors Him who has promised to be your helper. He who dwells in His tabernacle delights to dwell among His people by His Spirit, and He will be your home and your rest there. We pray that the Lord will give you favor in that place, that He will lead you to kind and gentle souls with whom you may feel safe and at ease, and that He will show you the very task He has prepared for your hands, so that you may be a blessing as you desire to be. May you go into His courts and worship at His footstool with quiet confidence, not in yourself, but in Him who strengthens the weak.

We bring your son before the Lord as you have asked. We pray that God will endue him with strength and power and wisdom for every duty set before him, that the favor of the Lord will rest upon him in his workplace, that his tasks may become settled and clear to him, and that he may know safety and comfort among those with whom he labors. May the Lord make him faithful and may He cause his work to prosper by His good hand.

For your whole family we pray that the Lord will pour out His blessing and bring healing where there has been hurt. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the Lord can make the nature other than it was before and make the heart fresh again. We ask Him to mend what is broken between you, to restore love and peace, and to cause His grace to be lower than your lowest distress, lifting you up.

And we pray that He who gives His beloved sleep will grant to your household this night and in nights to come quiet rest and perfect peace, keeping your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, in whose blessed name we offer every petition. Amen.
