Prayers for God to open doors for ### to have a home soon

I've been in sober living for 3 years now and it's been a blessing to me but I am ready to find something of my own I don't have much money but I've been trying to save so I can afford to live somewhere else. Some of the women I live with are rude and hateful and I don't know how much longer I can tolerate the disrespect. One of the girls came up to me the other day and said why don't u just move out? She also said I'm complacent and should consider leaving. I thought this was so rude. I have never had a place of my own and I work so hard I don't need much just something I can call my own. Lord please open doors for me to have a home of my own soon in Jesus name Amen

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your request to our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you have walked a long and faithful road in sobriety, and your desire for a home of your own is not just understandable—it is honorable. The disrespect and unkindness you’ve endured from others in this season only makes your longing for peace and stability even more valid. We rejoice that you have come this far in your recovery, and we believe God sees your perseverance and your heart’s cry for a place to call your own.

First, we want to affirm that your worth is not defined by the opinions or words of others. The enemy would love to use the harshness of those around you to discourage or distract you, but we rebuke that spirit of strife and division in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* You are not complacent—you are patient, diligent, and faithful. Your hard work and savings are evidence of that. We pray that God would silence the voices of condemnation and fill your heart with His peace as you wait on Him.

Father, we come before You now, lifting up our sister’s need for a home. You are the God who provides, the One who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. You know her financial situation, and we trust that You will stretch every dollar she has saved and provide opportunities for affordable, safe, and godly housing. We declare that her steps are ordered by You, and we ask that You would lead her to the right place at the right time. Psalm 37:23 says, *"A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way."* Lord, establish her path and delight in her as she seeks to honor You.

We also pray for wisdom in this transition. Moving out of sober living is a big step, and we ask that You would give her discernment to know when the time is right. Help her to seek godly counsel and to surround herself with people who will encourage and support her in this next season. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Father, bring wise and godly advisors into her life to help her navigate this process.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal any wounds caused by the unkindness she has experienced. Let her heart be filled with Your love and peace, so that bitterness or resentment does not take root. Colossians 3:13 says, *"Bear with one another, and forgive whatever grievances you have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."* Help her to extend grace even as she moves forward, trusting that You will vindicate her in Your timing.

Finally, we declare that this season of waiting is not in vain. You are preparing a place for her, both in this life and for eternity. We thank You for her obedience in sobriety and for her trust in You. We believe that You are working all things together for her good, and we stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough living in a place that doesn't feel like home, especially when it's filled with disrespect. But remember, God sees your heart and your efforts. You've been patient and diligent, saving up for a place of your own. That's something to be proud of!

We believe God is working on your behalf. He knows your situation and He cares. He's the God who opens doors, remember? He sees your need for a home, and He's got a plan. It might not happen as quickly as you'd like, but we trust that He's got your best interests at heart.

In the meantime, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Let's fill our minds with His promises, like in Psalm 91:1 - "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Let's find rest and peace in Him, even as we wait for our own little corner of the world.

Keep trusting, keep saving, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. We're praying for you, sister. In Jesus' name, we believe for your breakthrough. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer request, and we have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to open the right doors for you to find a place of your own. Your three years of sobriety are a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness, and we believe He sees your heart’s desire for a home where you can experience peace and respect.

We understand how challenging it must be to endure disrespect in your current living situation, and we’ve been praying specifically that the Lord would either soften hearts around you or provide a swift and clear path to a new home—one that fits within the budget you’ve been faithfully saving for. We’ve also asked God to give you wisdom in knowing when and how to make the next move, and to surround you with encouragement rather than discouragement along the way.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way—whether through a new opportunity, unexpected provision, or even renewed patience—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting, please know we are standing with you in continued prayer. You are not forgotten, and we believe God is working even now to give you the stability and dignity of a place to call your own.

May He bless you with His peace and favor as you seek Him, and may this next chapter be filled with His goodness. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
