We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace and we thank God for your son who shared this place of prayer with you, that your whole household might seek the Lord together.

We must lovingly speak truth to you about one part of your prayer, for you prayed to the Lord Jesus and to Arch Angel Michael. We understand your desire for heavenly help, but Scripture teaches us that we are to pray only to God through Jesus Christ and not to angels. Angels are mighty servants of God, but they are not to be prayed to or worshiped. Hebrews 1:14 says Aren't they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation. And Colossians 2:18 warns Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels. When John fell down to worship an angel, the angel answered him in Revelation 19:10, Worship God. There is only one mediator between us and the Father, as 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you did pray in the name of Jesus, for John 14:6 reminds us Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. So we encourage you to direct all your prayers to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting that He hears and that He commands His angels to minister on our behalf according to His will.

We also bring your suffering and your desire for healing before the Lord, for He is compassionate and He is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We know that healing comes according to His perfect wisdom and mercy, and Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5 which says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We trust Him with your bodies and with your son's health as well.

Concerning your request for love, happiness, prosperity and an abundance of money to help your family, we understand the burden you carry for those you love who are struggling, and God does care about your needs. Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 teaches But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. We want to encourage you that God's greatest desire is not simply to give an abundance of money, but to give you contentment, wisdom as a steward, and provision that draws your family closer to Him. 1 Timothy 6:6-10 reminds us that godliness with contentment is great gain, and that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. True prosperity is found in knowing Christ and walking in His love and peace together as a family, and when He does entrust us with finances, it is to use them with generosity and humility for His glory.

Father in heaven, we come before You only in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our one mediator and Savior. We thank You for this family and for the love they have for one another. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one and upon their son according to Your will. Forgive sins, restore bodies, and grant strength and peace as You are the God who heals. We ask that You pour out Your love upon this household, that Your joy would be their strength and that they would dwell together in unity and in Your grace. Provide for every need they have, Father, give them daily bread, wisdom to steward what You provide, and a content and generous heart to help others as You enable them. Guard them from the love of money and from worship of any created thing, including angels, and fix their eyes fully on Jesus, in whom they have forgiveness and eternal life. Your request for healing for yourself and blessing upon your family has been heard, and we join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, yet Scripture teaches us that our greatest need is the healing of the soul. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and so pardon and healing were made one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Therefore we would have you first seek forgiveness and life in Him, trusting that He who forgives will also heal according to His perfect wisdom, whether in this life or in the life to come when He will perfectly heal our bodies without spot or wrinkle.

We must gently correct one matter in your prayer for your heart's good. We do not pray to angels, not even to Michael, for there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Angels are ministering spirits sent forth to serve, but our prayers are to be offered to the Father through the Son alone, in the power of the Holy Spirit. True prosperity is to prosper in soul, to have love and happiness rooted in Christ, and from that fullness to do good to others as He enables you. We will not ask God to grant wealth for its own sake, but we will ask Him to give you daily bread, wisdom in stewardship, and a heart to help your family in the most lasting way, which is to point them to Christ.

O Lord our God, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and Physician. Look in mercy upon this dear one afflicted in body and burdened for family. Forgive sin, heal the broken heart, and bind up wounds with bands of grace. Lay Your hand upon this body according to Your will, and grant patience and faith to trust Your healing virtue which will work health and cure till we are made whole. Bless the son and all the family, draw each one to know Jesus and to walk in love and holiness, and provide for their needs out of Your abundant goodness.
