Prayers for doors opening

Jeortarway

Disciple of Prayer
Lord God, first I want to say thank you for waking me up today. Thank you Lord for the blessings of life. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy and love. Thank you Lord for everything that I have been given by you. Lord God I am asking for your help in this difficult situation. I know that you can help me to get through this season of wilderness. I’m asking Lord that you open up doors for a reliable car so I can continue to provide for my children and I. Lord God I am asking that you open up doors for my daughter to get a job, give her lord the work ethic that you gave me, not to slumber!! Lord God protect my children from harm and guide them through this new school year! Help them to get along with others and no bullying them this year. Lord God thank you for working hard with us. I know that the accident was a protection and some discipline from you. I believe that I am learning more to trust you and to put my life in order starting with you first. Through this storm I am still praising you! I am who you say I am! Lord God guide my children and I towards every decision we choose to make. Help us Lord find the house that you want for us. I thank you Lord for the shelter that we have now, but I know that you want us to have our own house. I thank you Lord for all the healing and blessings that you have given us recently. I thank you lord for my church family and all their prayers and love and support. Bless them lord Jesus!! Remind me throughout the days that you are in charge, not I lord. I surrender control to you Lord. I ask you lord to fill my children and I with the fruits of the spirit and to cast out the spirits of complaining, Jealousy, laziness, procrastination, bitterness, resentment and poverty! I know lord that you want us to prosper, not stand in stagnation! I know Lord that you can do anything! I thank you lord for the creator of this site. I ask you Lord if it’s your will answer my prayers. I am coming boldly to you and asking! I’m seeking you first, I’m trying lord. In Jesus mighty and powerful name amen

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join with you in lifting up these needs before our Heavenly Father. Your gratitude and trust in God, even in the midst of challenges, are a powerful testimony of faith. We are reminded of the scripture in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

First, we want to affirm your recognition of Jesus Christ as Lord and your surrender to His will. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that you have come boldly to the throne of grace, as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

We pray for the doors you are asking the Lord to open. Father, we ask that You provide a reliable car for this family, one that will meet their needs and allow them to continue providing for their children. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we also lift up this daughter, asking that You open doors of employment for her. Give her a strong work ethic, as Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty." May she find a job that not only meets her financial needs but also allows her to use her gifts and talents for Your glory.

We pray for protection over these children as they begin a new school year. Lord, surround them with Your angels and guide them in their interactions with others. May they be a light to their peers and stand firm against any bullying or negativity. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Fill them with wisdom, kindness, and discernment, as Proverbs 3:3-4 instructs, "Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

Father, we also lift up the need for a home for this family. We know that You are the provider of shelter and security, and we trust in Your timing. We pray that You guide them to the house You have prepared for them, one that will be a place of peace, rest, and growth in You. We are reminded of Joshua 21:45, "Nothing failed of any good thing which Yahweh had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass."

We rebuke the spirits of complaining, jealousy, laziness, procrastination, bitterness, resentment, and poverty in the name of Jesus Christ. These spirits have no place in the lives of believers, for we are called to walk in the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that this family will prosper and not stand in stagnation, for Your word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

Lord, we thank You for the discipline and protection You provided through the accident. We know that You discipline those You love, as Hebrews 12:6 tells us, "For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives." We pray that this family continues to grow in their trust in You and that they draw ever closer to Your heart. May they continue to praise You in the storm, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for them are good.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust. We thank You for the life and blessings You have given to this family. Lord, we ask that You open the doors they need for reliable transportation, employment for the daughter, and a home that You have prepared for them. Protect their children as they begin this new school year, and fill them with Your peace and wisdom.

Father, we rebuke every spirit that seeks to hinder their progress and growth in You. Fill them with the fruits of the Spirit and cast out every negative influence. We declare that they will prosper in all things, just as their souls prosper. Lord, continue to guide them in every decision they make, and may they always seek You first.

We thank You for the church family that surrounds them with love and support. Bless them abundantly for their faithfulness. Lord, remind this family daily that You are in charge, and help them to surrender control to You fully. We trust in Your promises and Your perfect timing.

In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the honest longing in your prayer, the gratitude, the weariness of wilderness, and the deep desire for tangible doors to open. Thank you for letting us share this moment of seeking with you.

What stands out is the way you keep handing control back to God, even when the car, the job, the next house all still feel uncertain. That is the engine of trust right there, not a feeling, but a repeated, daily surrender. Wilderness stretches our patience, but it doesn’t mean God is absent; often it’s the place He uses to teach us we can rely on Him for daily bread, not just the final destination.

You asked for open doors for your daughter’s work and a reliable vehicle. As you watch for those, one small practice might steady your heart: each evening, jot down one concrete way God provided that day (a ride, a brief calm in the household, a kind word). It’s not a magic formula; it’s simply a way to train your eyes to see the manna already falling while you wait for the bigger breakthrough. And when the car or job does come, you’ll have a record of the journey.

We’re praying with you now, not because you need us to convince God, but because we believe He hears every word you’ve spoken in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, You see this family’s needs. We join this parent in thanking You for life, mercy, and the church family surrounding them. Please open the doors for a dependable car and meaningful work for the daughter. Shelter the children, guard them from bullying, and fill their home with Your peace. Quiet the spirits of complaint and weariness, and let the fruit of Your Spirit grow in each of them. Give them steady trust as they continue to surrender control to You. In Your mighty name, Amen.

Amen! Thank you

You have spoken of surrender, and this is well. Yet let it be an unconditional surrender, fling wide the gates of Mansoul and admit Prince Emanuel to rule as sole sovereign in every street of your being. He bids you trust His Son Jesus. Will you do so? Trust Him now, and you are saved from the guilt of sin. Surrender at discretion to His method of operating upon you, even through the accident which was both a protection and a discipline. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way.

You cry for doors to open, and rightly. But I must ask you, have you entered the Door? Christ saith, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” Trust Him then and there for the car, the job for your daughter, the house. Yet remember, in temporal things the wise man trusteth in God, but he is not idle, that were to trust the devil, nor rash, that were to trust chance. Handle your matters prudently, relying simply and entirely upon Him, and you shall not mourn for having used sinful means.

This wilderness season, though sharp, is no strange thing. David had poor company in the wilderness; yet was not God the God of the wilderness? Where did Hagar look to Him who saw her? Where did Elijah hear that still small voice? At the backside of the desert. The Lord gave manna and water from the rock. There is no real cause for distress, you are highly favoured. Carry your real troubles to God in prayer, and they shall be turned to advantage. Trust Him as you sink, and you shall swim.

You plead for the casting out of complaining, jealousy, laziness, bitterness. There is a fountain open for sin and uncleanness, for the child of God as much as for the sinner. Wash again. Has your love grown cold? Come, be revived. The open volume of the Word is your evidence of salvation; let the open change in your life be visible to all, a distinct crisis from darkness to light.

As for your children, commit them to the same dear hand. Can you trust Him with one soul? You may well trust Him with a million; He is able to save all who trust Him. Guide them to the Door. The doors of the shadow of death hold stores of dying grace, but for the living stores of living grace are promised. Only trust, and do His bidding.

Set all your confidence upon the Almighty. Trust not in what is seen, nor in yourself, for you have no worse enemy. Power belongeth unto God. Into His hands commit your way, and He shall bring it to pass. Trust Him! Trust Him! Trust Him!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
