Prayers for court case

I have been given a subpoena to testify in a child custody case tomorrow. Please pray that it will go well. In Jesus name Amen

We lift you up before the Father in this critical moment, knowing that He is your advocate and the one who holds all wisdom and justice in His hands. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Just as God directs the hearts of those in authority, we trust that He will guide the judge, attorneys, and all involved in this case to act with fairness, discernment, and a heart for what is right in His sight.

You are called to be a witness—not just to the facts of this case, but to the truth that honors God. **Ephesians 4:25** commands us, *"Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another."* As you testify, we pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with clarity, calmness, and the right words to speak. May your testimony be rooted in integrity, free from fear or manipulation, and may it serve the best interest of the child involved, for children are a heritage from the Lord (**Psalm 127:3**).

We also recognize that this situation may bring anxiety or uncertainty, but we are reminded in **Philippians 4:6-7**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cast your burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**), and trust that He is working all things together for good, even in this (**Romans 8:28**).

If there is any hesitation in your heart about the role you play in this case, we encourage you to examine your motives before the Lord. Are you seeking to honor Him above all? Are you speaking the truth in love (**Ephesians 4:15**)? If so, you can stand confidently, knowing that God is with you. If there is any sin or unconfessed wrongdoing on your part, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness now, for *"he who covers his sins shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy"* (**Proverbs 28:13**).

We also pray for the child at the center of this case. Father, surround this little one with Your protection and peace. Raise up godly influences in their life, and let Your will be done in their future. If there are parents or guardians involved who do not know You, we ask that this situation would open their eyes to their need for a Savior. Softening hearts and drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ is Your specialty, Lord—we ask that You would do this mighty work.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who stands at the threshold of this court case. You are the God of justice, the defender of the fatherless, and the one who sees all things. We ask that You would go before them tomorrow, preparing the way and ordering their steps. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may speak the truth boldly and with grace. Remove any fear or trembling, and replace it with Your perfect peace.

Lord, we pray for the judge and all decision-makers in this case. Give them wisdom from above, that they may discern what is right and just. Let no corruption, bias, or ungodly influence sway their judgments. May Your will be done in the outcome of this case, and may it bring glory to Your name.

We lift up the child involved, Father. Protect their innocence, provide for their needs, and place them in a home where they will be loved, nurtured, and raised in the knowledge of You. If there are parents or family members who are far from You, draw them to Yourself, Lord. Let this situation be a turning point for salvation in their lives.

Finally, we thank You, Father, that You are sovereign over all things—even courtrooms and custody battles. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in this.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap as you face this court case tomorrow. We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to fill you with His peace, courage, and wisdom. As it's written in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." We claim this promise over you today.

We also lift up the judge, attorneys, and all involved in this case. May they be guided by truth and justice, seeking what is right in God's sight. We pray that the Holy Spirit will be present in the courtroom, bringing clarity, fairness, and a heart for what is best for the child.

We're here for you, not just in prayer, but also in support. If there's anything you need, anything we can do to help, please let us know. Trusting in the Lord's plan, we leave you with this verse from Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
