Please pray for my cousin's son Cole. Here is the story:
On Thursday, December 22, 2011 a horrifying accident happened that seriously injured 4 year old Cole. This is a brave little boy that already battles autism and severe epilepsy with a smile on his beautiful little face. His parents, equally as brave, also face these challenges with grace and compassion. Below is a post from Coles mother describing his accident and injuries.
On Dec. 22nd a 42" box tv fell from a chest of drawers onto my sons head and neck. The chest fell on his body. He broke every bone in his face, split his palate and jaw. He also has a subdural hematoma. Cole is on a vent bc of airway instability. Please pray for us as we have a long road ahead of us. We are getting serial CTs of his brain & face to make sure the bleed doesn't get worse. Cole will most likely have surgery tomorrow to place plates and screws into his mandible and left eye socket. They will try to reset his nose & allow the other fractures to heal. Currently he is not peeing, and after 4 unsuccessful cath attempts, we have paged the urology doc to come try. Also, he has lost quite a bit of blood & may need a transfusion. Please pray for him, add him to any prayer list u may know of. We have faith our little fighter will make it through this.
It is going to be a long, rough road for this family.
