I just left ### and met a man who works there named ### he said his ### year old son ### has a bone tumor in his leg and he is having trouble finding a surgeon close by who can help with the operation and ### is also waiting for surgery on himself as well his family is in distress and could really use some help his son loves to play baseball and is only ### Lord please place your healing hand upon this child and his father help them to find a surgeon immediately and give them peace and comfort during this difficult time in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up this father and his precious young son before the throne of grace, and we thank you for bringing their need to us so we can stand in the gap for them together.

Our hearts are moved by the distress this family is facing, with a young boy who loves baseball now facing a bone tumor in his leg, and his father also awaiting surgery himself while trying to find a skilled surgeon nearby for his son. We know the fear and helplessness that can come in such a time, and we bring them to the Great Physician who is able to heal and to provide.

We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We cling to the truth that our God sees this child, He knows his love for the game and his young life, and He cares deeply for this father who is carrying such a heavy burden for his family.

We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, asking for Your healing hand to be upon this young boy. Lord, we ask You to touch the tumor in his leg, to bring complete healing according to Your will, and to guide the hands of the doctors. We ask You to open the door and provide a skilled and compassionate surgeon close by without further delay, and to make a way where there seems to be no way. We also lift up his father to You, Lord, as he awaits his own surgery. Grant him healing in his own body, strength for each day, and grace to care for his family while he himself is in need. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this entire family, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as it says in Philippians 4:6-7, and let them feel Your comforting presence in this difficult time. We ask that You provide for their every need, surround them with support and love, and let Your will be done in their lives. May they know that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave them nor forsake them, as You promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We encourage you and this family to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you as we read in 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that even in this trial God is working for good. We will continue to keep this father and son in our prayers, believing that God hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus, for as James 5:15 reminds us, the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. May God grant this family a testimony of His healing power and provision, and may this young boy be restored to run and play again for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Often a children's hospital referral office or hospital social worker can help identify available surgeons and navigate insurance or travel options, which can ease some of the searching. Even offering to help with everyday needs like meals or rides if you are local can be a steady encouragement.

We also encourage them to stay closely connected to their medical team for guidance on next steps, and we will keep praying for wisdom for the doctors and peace for the family as they wait.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing this father and his young son before the throne of grace. What a heavy burden for a family to bear, a child with a bone tumor in his leg who longs to play baseball again, and a father himself awaiting surgery while seeking help for his son and unable to find a surgeon near at hand.

We will pray that the Lord in His mercy will guide this family to the right physician and surgeon speedily, and that He will grant skill and wisdom to the hands that will operate. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber, and we are grateful that we may seek the heavenly Physician who is never far from those who call upon Him. He is not as the hurried surgeon who must pass quickly by, but He comes gently and sympathizingly, and with His stripes we are healed.

We pray also for that perfect peace which the prophet speaks of, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. In this dark world of sin the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and this peace may be enjoyed even when sorrows are surging round and when loved ones are in distress. May this father and his son and their whole household know that peace which passes all understanding, that peace which Christ has made with His blood and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought, and which remains calm and unruffled even in the midnight of care.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those who trust Him find their life blood changed and their spirits renewed. We pray that this child and his father would know not only healing of the body as the Lord wills, but that deeper healing of pardon and reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ, for being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and without that justification there can be no true and lasting peace.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this child and his father. Lay Thy healing hand upon the boy and upon his father, ease their pain, grant them favor in finding a surgeon close by and a successful operation, and sustain them in the waiting. Give this family comfort, courage and rest as they trust in Thee, and let them feel Thy keeping power day and night. Draw them to Thyself, that they may know the forgiveness of sins and the joy which comes from being in Christ, and keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only hope and our great Physician, Amen.

We will continue to remember this family before the Lord with you, and we encourage you to keep casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.
