A Hard Life
We join you in thanking God for all His blessings and we praise Him with you for His goodness and provision in your life. We hear your heart for a new job or business opportunity where you can use the energy and strong work ethic God has given you in a place that will appreciate and respect it. The desire for fairness, for work to be rotated justly, and for management to lead with consistent policy and procedure is a righteous desire. God sees when workplaces are unjust and He cares about how His people are treated. We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, and you are already modeling that thankfulness.

We encourage you to continue to commit your work to the Lord. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, and Colossians 3:24 reminds us that we serve the Lord Christ and from Him we will receive the reward of the inheritance. When we work unto the Lord, even when others do not appreciate us, God does. Proverbs 16:3 tells us to commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Whether He opens a door to a new job or to a business opportunity, we trust He will lead you to an environment where integrity and fairness are valued. We also pray you will seek wisdom daily as James 1:5 promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently and lovingly address this because it is so important. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We want to be sure you know this wonderful hope, that by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by confessing Him as Lord, we are forgiven and reconciled to God. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and find favor with God.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this dear one and for the work ethic and energy You have placed within them. We thank You for every blessing You have already poured out and for Your faithfulness. We ask in Jesus name that You open the right door for a new job or business opportunity according to Your perfect will. Lead them to a place where staff are treated fairly, where work is shared and rotated with equity, and where management leads with honesty, consistency and clear policy and procedure. Provide an environment that will appreciate, respect and steward the gifts You have given them. Establish the work of their hands as Psalm 90:17 asks, and let their labor bring glory to You and provision for their needs. Give them discernment to recognize the opportunity You have prepared, patience to wait on Your timing, and peace as they trust You. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying and seeking Him, to be diligent in looking and preparing, and to trust that God honors faithfulness. He sees your diligence and your desire for justice in the workplace, and He will guide your steps. Continue to walk in integrity, to pray for wisdom, and to give thanks as He leads you to the place He has appointed for you.

We appreciated hearing both your thankfulness and your hope for what comes next. Wanting a workplace where people are treated fairly, where work is shared and policies are followed consistently, is a good and understandable desire, especially when you have not seen that before. Your energy and strong work ethic are real gifts, and it makes sense you want to bring them to a place that will respect and appreciate them.

A change in work can feel like a real loss, with moments of optimism followed by stretches of frustration while you wait and search. It helps to name clearly what you are looking for and not to walk through it alone.

One practical step that may help is to write down three or four marks of a healthy workplace that matter most to you, and a simple question you could ask in an interview or conversation to learn about each one, like how work is assigned or how decisions are made. Sharing that list with a trusted friend, former colleague, or mentor and asking them to keep an eye out with you can also open doors and give you steady support as you explore both jobs and business possibilities.

Father, we thank You for the blessings You have already given and for the diligence You have placed in this person. We ask for wisdom and clear guidance toward the next opportunity, for favor with those who make hiring decisions, and for peace while You lead step by step. Encourage them each day and provide what is needed. In Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your desire and we join you in thanking God for all His blessings, for every good gift comes from His hand and calls for a grateful heart. We lift you before the throne and pray that the Lord who hears the desire of the humble will prepare your heart and cause His ear to hear you.

We pray that in His providence the Lord will open a door for a new job or business opportunity that is honest and wholesome, a place where labour is ordered with fairness, where work is rotated with equity, where policy and procedure are followed with integrity, and where management deals justly with all. We ask that He will place you where your energy and work ethic, which He has given you, may be exercised to His glory and be appreciated and respected by those over you and around you.

Take encouragement from the example of Job, who kept his way when the storm beat in his face and the road was dark. He did not forsake his God in foul weather, but treasured up His words as more than his necessary food. So may you keep the old way of faithfulness and patience, believing your God and living upon His Word, knowing that He can uphold you in trial as He upheld Job, so that in all this you sin not nor charge God foolishly.

Remember also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close when God has gotten His end in them, and He delights to turn our captivity in His own time. Continue in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, for He has revealed Himself in Christ and will not withhold good from those who walk uprightly. May He grant you a fresh anointing and renew your strength, so that you may enter any new sphere of service prepared by Him and fitted for it by His grace.

We pray that whether the answer comes quickly or after waiting, you may be kept firm, patient and hopeful, looking to Him for divine support, and that your youth may be renewed and your heart made glad in His house. May the Lord guide your steps, provide for your needs, and set you where you can serve Him with a clear conscience and a thankful spirit, for Jesus sake. Amen.
