Thank you for sharing this burden and for standing in faith for your friend. We join you in prayer for her protection, healing and deliverance, and we thank God for your love and concern for her and for her children.
Scripture teaches that our struggle is not only against what is seen, but against spiritual forces of evil, yet it also teaches that Christ is far greater. No weapon formed against those who belong to Him will finally prosper, and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Jesus came to bring both deliverance from evil and the supply of every good gift, to loose the bonds of sin and to bring us into adoption as sons and daughters of God through faith in Him alone. He alone can loose the chains that bind the mind and heart, and He alone can restore what has been confused and broken.
We pray together for your friend now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we ask for Your mercy and power over our sister. We ask that You cover her with Your protection, guard her mind, her body and her home, and drive away every evil influence, every work of darkness and every intention meant for harm. Bring clarity where there is confusion, peace where there are nightmares and fear, and soundness of mind where there has been forgetfulness and distress. Heal her thoughts and restore her to wholeness, so that she may again care for her children and her loved ones with a clear and steady mind. Break every chain that would control or mislead her, and grant her breakthrough in every area of her life. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, with faith, with the love of Your Word and with the assurance that she is Yours. We ask also for wisdom and strength for those who love her and pray for her, that they may persevere with fortitude, with careful hearing of Your Word and continual remembrance of Your promises.
Continue to strengthen your own mind as you pray, by staying rooted in Scripture, by singing praises to God and by gathering with faithful believers who can pray with you and support you both. Do not give place to revenge or bitterness toward those you believe wish her harm, but entrust all judgment to God, who sees all and will act in justice and mercy. Keep praying without haste or panic, with sobriety and patience, trusting that God is able to do all that we ask according to His will, and that He sets His people above fear even when trials remain.
