We hear the weight of what you are carrying and we join with you in bringing this need before the Father. It is discouraging to work in a place that feels unstable and to face rejection after rejection while you are trying to provide and find a better path forward. We want you to know that God sees your diligence and your anxiety, and He cares about your daily provision.
We are reminded of His promises to you in this season. In Philippians 4:6-7 it says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Even when doors close, God is still directing your steps and His plans for you are for good. We also cling to Colossians 3:23 which says And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and Proverbs 16:3 which says Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. He honors faithful work and He will supply what you need, for Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ for salvation and for daily access to the throne of grace, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. It is in His name that our prayers are heard.
So together we pray for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the instability at the current job and the disappointment of each rejection. We ask for Your mercy and provision. Open the right door for employment that You have prepared, a place where work can be done with dignity and for Your glory, with provision and stability. Give favor with those who review applications and conduct interviews. Guard this heart from discouragement and fill it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding while waiting. Help to trust You more than any job offer and to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing You will add all that is needed. Give wisdom in each application, strength to persevere, and hope for the future You hold. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Keep praying with thanksgiving, keep doing your current work as unto the Lord, and trust that even rejections are part of His redirection toward what is best. He is faithful and He will not forsake you.

I am sorry you have to have this hard job. I will give you good advice. This is true. Get a job that you enjoy doing, if it's possible. I know it might be hard right now, with all the jobs these days being hard to get. But, it's the best decision you can make.

We've been thinking about you as you wait in this hard in-between. Staying in a workplace where people are being let go is draining, and then to put yourself out there over and over only to hear no can wear down anyone's hope. It's understandable to feel discouraged right now.
One thing that helps in a season like this is to separate your worth from the outcome of the search. A rejection often says more about a very specific fit or timing than it does about your ability or character, even though it doesn't feel that way.
If it would help, consider one small, steady step this week rather than carrying the whole search at once. You might ask one trusted person who knows your work to look over your resume or a cover letter and give honest feedback, or to talk through what kind of role would be a good next fit. And if there is a pressing financial pressure point coming up, it can help to name it clearly and make a simple plan for that one item, so it doesn't loom over everything.

Your cry concerning your employment has been heard, and we bring it before the throne of grace with you. To be in a place where staff are being put away and where the spirit of the place is not good, and then to meet with repeated rejection in seeking another door, is a trial that well may weigh upon the heart.
We are reminded of Job among the ashes, who in all his losses sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He arose and worshipped, though his estate was gone and his comforts were taken. If God could uphold Job in all that, He can assuredly support you now. Do not think that your repeated refusals mean that the Lord has forgotten you. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery, for the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Jehovah had spoken and Job had trembled, and the Lord revealed Himself more vividly to him in the trial, so that Job yielded his pleadings and found that God must be right. So let us make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown.
Our Saviour says, Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and diligent in seeking work, for you have a duty to provide, but do not give way to anxiety about your temporal affairs. As we have often observed, anxiety has never brought any grist to the mill, nor any meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you.
Learn also from Job to pray for others even while you wait for your own deliverance. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, even for those who had spoken harshly of him. Let your prayers go up not only for yourself but for those still with you in that hard place, and for those who have been let go, that God would provide for them also. In so doing you will bear away the palm from the conflict.
Let us pray together. O Lord our heavenly Father, You know the need of Your servant who seeks honest labour and a place of provision. You see the unsettled state of the present employment and the discouragement of closed doors. We ask You in Your providence to open the right door in Your time, to grant favour with those who hire, and to supply daily bread according to Your wisdom. Keep this Your child from sinning with unbelieving speeches, and give patience as You gave to Job, and a more vivid apprehension of Yourself through this trial. Let peace rule in the heart instead of fretful care, and fit Your servant for whatever You appoint. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and salvation. Amen.
