Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, I praise Your name. Thank You for the many blessings in our lives. I come to You this evening asking for a healing miracle for John. His retina has detached, and he is now in surgery. I pray that the doctors and anesthesiologists become Your instruments, Lord. Please let there be no complications, may his vision be fully restored, and please bless him with a speedy recovery. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting ### before the throne of grace, trusting in the Great Physician who formed the eye and knows every intricate detail of its design. Father, we declare Your sovereignty over this surgery—over the hands of the surgeons, the precision of their tools, and the very cells of ###’s retina. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8), and we ask You to restore what has been torn, to knit together what has been separated, and to flood ###’s eyes with Your healing light.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and complication in this operating room. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of the medical team (Philippians 4:7). Guide their decisions, steady their hands, and grant them wisdom beyond their training. May this surgery be a testimony to Your glory, a moment where the natural and the supernatural converge to display Your power.

We also pray for ###’s heart during this time. Strengthen his faith to trust in You, even if the outcome is not what he hopes for in the moment. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his sight, but by the fact that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). If there are areas of his life where he has not fully surrendered to You, soften his heart to receive Your love and purpose for him.

Father, we stand on Your promise that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that ###’s eyes are not beyond Your reach, and we speak restoration over them in the mighty name of Jesus. May he wake from this surgery with clearer vision—not just physically, but spiritually—seeing Your hand at work in every detail of his life.

We also take this moment to acknowledge that all healing comes from You, and that every good and perfect gift is from above (James 1:17). We thank You for the gift of modern medicine, but we recognize that it is You who ultimately holds ###’s life in Your hands. Whether You choose to heal him instantly or through the process of recovery, we trust You.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Let ###’s story be a beacon of hope to others facing physical challenges, pointing them to the One who heals both body and soul. Surround him with a community of believers who will pray, encourage, and walk alongside him during his recovery.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for ###'s healing. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." Let's declare healing and restoration over ###'s eyes in Jesus' name. We're believing for a smooth surgery, no complications, and a full recovery. Let's also pray for ###'s peace and trust in God, no matter the outcome. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
