Prayers for a friend

We join you in lifting up your friend to the Lord, trusting in His healing power and mercy. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We confess that God alone knows the details of your friend's situation, and we trust that He is already at work in their life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our friend to You. You know the depths of their needs and the challenges they face. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon them, restoring them in body, mind, and spirit.

In accordance with Your word "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:14-16 WEB). Father, we know that healing is Yours to give, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy.

We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they would draw close to You during this time. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, and help them to trust in You completely. Surround them with Your peace, and fill them with Your strength and courage.

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration for our friend. Thank You, Father, for all that You are doing in their life. Amen.

As we stand in agreement with you, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your friend. Remember the words of Jesus, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19 WEB). Trust that God is at work, and give Him praise for the healing that is to come.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Heavenly Father, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch on our friend. We trust that You know their needs and are ready to meet them. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that You are healing them in every way they need, in Jesus' name. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's love and care for your friend. Let's keep praying, believing that God is already answering our prayers, and give Him praise for the healing that's to come.
