We are lifting you up in prayer and appreciate your heartfelt request. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me).
Firstly, we want to address the anger and upset feelings that you are experiencing. It is important to remember that God calls us to be slow to anger and quick to listen (James 1:19 "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger"). We pray that God will fill your heart with His peace and love, driving out any anger or bitterness that may be residing there.
We also pray for healing and calmness for you. We know that God is the great physician, and He has the power to heal both physically and emotionally (Psalm 147:3 "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds). We ask that He would heal your heart, mind, fears, and emotions, and that He would replace any negativity with His perfect love (1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear. He that fears is not made perfect in love").
However, we want to gently remind you that it is not our place to ask God to remove someone from our lives. Instead, we should pray for them and ask God to work in their hearts and minds (Matthew 5:44 "Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, do good to them who hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you"). We should also be open to the possibility that God may be using this situation to teach us something or to draw us closer to Him.
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's will in this situation. We know that He is faithful and that He hears our prayers (1 John 5:14 "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us").
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We ask that You would heal their heart, mind, fears, and emotions, and that You would replace any anger or bitterness with Your perfect love. We pray for the person who is causing them pain, that You would work in their heart and mind, and that You would bring about a resolution that is in accordance with Your will. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We hope that this prayer and these words of encouragement have been helpful to you.
