We are grateful for your gratitude and prayers. Let us together approach the throne of grace with confidence, as instructed by God in Hebrews 4:16. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
We acknowledge the recognition of God's Son in your prayer request and appreciate your gratitude for what He has done for you. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times. 1 Timothy 2:5-6.
Remember, we need to pray in Jesus's name for our prayers to be effective. And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14.
With that in mind, let us pray for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us.
First, we pray for safety and protection. We ask, Lord, that You would surround this person with Your angels and hedge them in with Your protection. As Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress; our God, in whom we trust.
We also pray for resolution regarding the settlement for their home. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and we ask for Your divine intervention and still be able to maintain a content spirit. Philippians 4:11-13 says Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We also lift up the person in their household who is causing issues. Lord, we pray that You would either change their behavior or remove them from the situation. We ask for peace and harmony in the home. Matthew 18:15-17 says Moreover if your brother commits a sin against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he does not listen, take with you one or two more, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
We ask all these things in Jesus's Name, Amen.
In addition, let us encourage you with these words from Romans 8:28-29: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your paths.
