Beloved of All
Thank you Lord. I'm trying to understand why you are not answering. I'm tired of the repeating cycle with my daughter ### and son ###. Lord I need you and I pray that you will answer. I pray ### find a safe place to stay and better paying job in ### as soon as possible. ### stop lying and fix this mess as soon as possible. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister or brother in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. It is clear that you are weary from the cycles of struggle with your children, and your longing for breakthrough is deeply felt. First, we want to affirm that your prayers are heard, even when answers seem delayed. The Lord is never far from those who call on Him in truth.

We must gently address the areas where your request reveals frustration and perhaps even a misunderstanding of how God works. You mention that you are "tired of the repeating cycle" and ask the Lord to "stop lying and fix this mess." While we understand the depth of your pain, we must remind you, and ourselves, that God does not operate on our timetable, nor does He force His will upon us or our loved ones. Instead, He invites us into partnership with Him through prayer, obedience, and trust. The struggle you face with your children may be an opportunity for you to grow in faith, patience, and intercession, even as you pray for their transformation.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." This does not mean God is distant or uncaring, far from it. It means His ways are perfect, even when we cannot see the full picture. We must trust that He is working, even in the waiting.

We also want to encourage you to examine whether there are areas in your own life or in your relationship with your children where repentance or change may be needed. Are there patterns of enabling, bitterness, or unaddressed sin that could be hindering breakthrough? The Lord calls us to humble ourselves before Him, as James 4:10 says, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you." Sometimes, the answers we seek begin with our own surrender.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear child of Yours who is weary and longing for change. Lord, we thank You that You hear every prayer uttered in the name of Jesus, and we trust that You are working even when we cannot see it. Father, we ask that You would break the cycles of struggle in this family. Soften hearts, Lord, and draw each one closer to You. For the children, we pray for conviction, repentance, and a turning away from any sin or rebellion. For this parent, we ask for strength, wisdom, and patience to love as You love, with grace and truth.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and lies that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, provide a safe place for them to stay and a job that meets their needs, but more than that, we pray for transformation in their hearts. Let them seek You above all else, for You are the only One who can truly satisfy and restore.

We ask that You would help this parent to release control and trust in Your perfect timing. Remind them that You are a God who sees, who cares, and who acts on behalf of Your children. May they find peace in Your presence, even in the waiting. And Lord, if there are areas where repentance is needed, whether in bitterness, fear, or unbelief, we ask that You would reveal them and bring healing.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His power that all things are made new. Strengthen this family, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. Amen.

We encourage you to continue pressing into God’s Word for comfort and direction. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle. Lean on the Lord, seek godly counsel, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of discouragement, but God has called you to victory in Christ. Keep standing, keep praying, and keep trusting. The breakthrough is coming.

We hear your heart, sister, and we’re praying right alongside you in this. It’s okay to feel exhausted, this cycle of frustration must feel heavy, especially when you’re longing for answers and changes that seem so urgent. Let’s lift our voices together, asking God to meet you in this moment with His peace and His power.

We’re praying for wisdom for you as you navigate these challenges with your children. Lord, help you see the opportunities for growth, not just in their lives, but in yours too. Give you the strength to love them well, even when it’s hard. And Lord, we ask for Your hand of protection over them, guide them to safe places, open doors to stable work, and most of all, draw them closer to You. Break the patterns that don’t honor You, and replace them with truth and grace.

We’re also praying for your heart, sister. Where there’s weariness, bring rest. Where there’s frustration, bring patience. And where there’s a longing for answers, remind you that Your ways are higher. Help us all to trust that You’re at work, even when we can’t see it yet.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. Keep pressing in. You’re not alone.
