We understand that you are seeking prayer for a settlement and for a challenging situation with someone in your household. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is so important to come together in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the details of the settlement they are awaiting. We pray that You will intervene and hasten this process according to Your will. We ask that You guide them through this time and give them the wisdom to make sound decisions.
Father, we also bring before You the person in their household who is causing issues. Lord, You know the depths of this situation and the hearts of those involved. We pray that You will soften this person's heart and bring about a change in their personality. We pray that You will help our brother/sister to show love and kindness even in this challenging situation, remembering the words of Proverbs 15:1 WEB A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Lord, we also pray for peace and harmony in their household. Help them to live together in unity, as it is written in Psalm 133:1 WEB See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!
Father, we ask that You will guide our brother/sister through this time and help them to grow in their faith and trust in You. Help them to remember that You are always with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
