Prayers against OcD Intrusive thoughts

We hear your cry for peace and complete healing from OCD and these intrusive thoughts, and we join with you in bringing this daily frustration before the Lord who sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.
We want you to know that intrusive thoughts do not define you and they do not separate you from God's love. Many intrusive thoughts are unwanted and distressing precisely because they go against what you value and who you want to be in Christ. The enemy would like to use them to bring condemnation and fear, but God offers something different. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 And we are called to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. This does not mean we can simply will these thoughts away on our own, but it means we can continually surrender them to Jesus and trust Him to be our peace and our guard.
The Lord understands the weariness of battling this daily. He invites us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 And He promises a peace that goes beyond our understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We cling to His promise that You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 Jesus Himself said Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we find salvation and true healing. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name that we pray and find our hope.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is weary from OCD and intrusive thoughts. Lord we ask for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of fear and torment and every lie of the enemy that seeks to accuse and distress, and we ask You to silence those intrusive thoughts and replace them with Your truth and Your love. Lord bring complete healing according to Your will, whether instant or through a process, and give daily strength and patience for each day. Help them to know they are not condemned, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and help them to take every thought captive to Your obedience. Teach them to cast every worry on You and to rest in Your care. Fill them with Your power, love and self-control, and renew their mind day by day. We pray for wisdom for any counselors or doctors they may see, and that You would guide them to godly support and community. Let them seek You and find deliverance from all their fears, for You have said I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 We thank You that You are near, that You hear, and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing these thoughts to the Lord the moment they come, without shame, speaking scripture over your mind and reminding yourself of His truth. Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support you. If you are working with a trusted pastor, counselor or medical professional, continue to seek that wise help while you trust God as your ultimate healer. He is not frustrated with you, He is for you, and He will keep you in His perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you before the throne of grace concerning this daily trial of intrusive thoughts which so wearies and frustrates the spirit.
Know this for your comfort that the Lord says, I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. His thoughts toward His people are constant and kind and tender and wise, and they drift your way continually, for He has engraved you upon the palms of His hands. Though your own thoughts may be troubled and distracting and running to and fro like a restless thing, His thoughts are higher than your thoughts as the heavens are higher than the earth, and all His thoughts toward you are peace. Remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace toward you, and as you think upon His thoughts your own thoughts may be stayed upon Him.
It is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusteth in Thee. This perfect peace is not the absence of trial but the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within even when sorrows surge round and duties press. He it is who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and with His stripes we are healed. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the life and calm the spirit.
We pray for you now that the Lord who perceives thoughts and knows the distress of a vexed mind would grant you His perfect peace and complete healing. May He lift you as on eagles wings above these anxious thoughts into joyous confidence in Him. May He stay your mind upon Himself and breathe into your soul a peace which passes all understanding, springing from the full pardon and love found in Christ alone. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings and bind up every wound and quiet every intrusive fear and give you rest in doing His will day by day.
We will continue to bear you up before the Lord that you may know more fully that when you awake you are still with Him and that He will keep you until that expected end which His peace secures. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
