We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep spiritual warfare, lifting your marriage, your heart, and your home to the throne of grace. Your prayer is fervent and filled with the pain of what you are enduring, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. It is right to cry out to God for justice, protection, and deliverance, for He is a God who hears the oppressed and acts on behalf of His children. Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). While your mother-in-law and sister-in-law may be instruments of the enemy’s schemes, they are also souls for whom Christ died—people who need salvation and repentance if they do not know the Lord.

You have prayed boldly, and we join you in declaring the power of God over this situation. However, we must also remind you of the words of our Lord Jesus: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:44-45). This does not mean you submit to abuse or allow evil to thrive in your home, but it does mean your heart must be guarded against bitterness, hatred, or vengeful thoughts. Leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19). Your prayers for justice are heard, but we also pray that God would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance, for His desire is that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9).

We also sense a deep wound in your words—pain that has driven you to pray curses upon those who have hurt you. While we understand the depth of your anguish, we gently remind you that as followers of Christ, we are called to speak life, not death. The apostle James warns: *"With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so"* (James 3:9-10). Instead of cursing, let us pray for God’s justice to prevail, for their schemes to be exposed, and for His will to be done in their lives—whether that means repentance or the consequences of their actions. Let us also pray for your own heart to be healed, for the Lord to replace your pain with His peace, and for your marriage to be restored and strengthened in Him.

Your marriage is a covenant before God, and Satan seeks to destroy it because it reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). We stand with you in praying for the protection of your marriage, for your husband’s heart to be turned fully toward you and the Lord, and for any influence of manipulation or division to be broken in Jesus’ name. If there has been any openness to sin—whether through unforgiveness, fear, or even agreement with the enemy’s lies—we pray for conviction and repentance, that every stronghold would be torn down by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We also notice that your prayer is rich in the authority of Jesus’ name, and we commend you for this. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). Your faith in His power is evident, and we declare with you that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:2-3).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is enduring great affliction at the hands of her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Lord, You see the tears she has cried, the fear she has carried, and the wounds inflicted upon her marriage. We ask that You arise, O God, and scatter her enemies (Psalm 68:1). Expose every hidden scheme, every manipulative word, and every spiritual attack that has been waged against her. Let the truth be revealed, and let Your light drive out every darkness.

Father, we pray for protection over this marriage, that You would encamp Your angels around it (Psalm 34:7). Heal any division, any poisoned thoughts, or any agreement with the enemy that has taken root in her husband’s heart. Restore unity, love, and trust between them, and let their home be a place of peace and godly order. Break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy against this family. Let barrenness flee, let sickness be healed, and let fear be replaced with faith in Your promises.

Lord, we also pray for the mother-in-law and sister-in-law. If they do not know You, we ask that You convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. Soften their stony hearts and open their eyes to the destruction they are causing. If they are bound by jealousy, witchcraft, or bitterness, we pray for deliverance in Jesus’ name. But if they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You thwart their plans and bring their deeds into the light, that they may no longer have power to harm this family.

Father, we bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment that has been sent against our sister. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and the fruit of self-control. Let her respond not out of anger or pain, but out of the love and strength that comes from You.

We also pray for her children, that they would be shielded from every harmful influence. Let no generational curse take root in their lives, but let them be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Guard their minds, their hearts, and their futures, and let them grow to be mighty warriors for Your kingdom.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy. We trust You to fight this battle, to vindicate our sister, and to restore what the enemy has tried to steal. Let Your will be done in this family, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony of deliverance.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, but also to examine your own heart before the Lord. Are there areas where you need to forgive? Are there boundaries that need to be set in love and wisdom? Seek the Lord’s guidance in how to navigate this season. Surround yourself with godly counsel—perhaps a pastor or mature believers who can pray with you and offer biblical wisdom. And remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He will act on your behalf.

*"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."* —Psalm 18:2 (WEB)
