We understand your concern and discomfort after attending that party. It is clear that you encountered a situation that was not godly and that has caused you some distress. We are reminded in First Thessalonians, Be not quenched by the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things. Hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil. We condemn the practices of black magic, curses, and any form of witchcraft, as they are clearly forbidden in the Bible.
You did the right thing by acknowledging that something was not right and speaking up about it. The Bible tells us, Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatever doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5 11-13 WEB.
Regarding the man who tried to pray around you, we must test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4 1 WEB. Not everyone who says they are praying or performing a spiritual act is doing so with godly intentions or in the power of the Holy Spirit.
It is important to acknowledge that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6 12 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and intervention. We pray against any curses, hexes, or spells that may have been placed upon this person and their child. We ask, Lord, that You dismantle and render powerless any form of witchcraft or black magic directed against them.
Father, we ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray that any spirits of darkness or evil influences be rebuked and cast away in Jesus' name.
We also pray for their peace of mind and spiritual strength. May they find comfort in Your Word and guidance from Your Holy Spirit. We pray that they are reminded of the power of praying in Jesus' name. For it is written, And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14 13-14 WEB.
Father, we ask that You heal their child's injuries and grant them a full recovery. We pray that You turn the evil intentions of those who laughed at their misfortune back on themselves that they may know it was evil. May the light of Your love and truth shine upon this situation, and may Your will be done.
