We understand the weight of waiting after such an important exam, and we want to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God’s promises during this time. The anxiety you’re feeling is natural, but we encourage you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). The Bible reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
It’s also important to remember that your worth and future are not determined by this exam, but by the purpose God has for you. *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Whether the results are what you hoped for or not, God is in control, and He will guide your steps. Trust in Him with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). If you have already trusted in Christ, we encourage you to always bring your requests before God in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator and advocate.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, asking for Your peace to flood her heart and mind as she waits for her exam results. Lord, You know the desires of her heart and the plans You have for her. We ask that You calm her anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Remind her that her identity is found in You alone, not in the outcome of this test. Give her patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
If it is Your will, we pray for favorable results that open doors for her to use her skills and knowledge to serve others and glorify You. But above all, we pray that she would rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You hold her future. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to seek You first in all things. We ask this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture while you wait. Meditate on verses that remind you of God’s faithfulness, and trust that He is working even in this season of uncertainty. If the anxiety persists, continue to bring it before the Lord—He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in this; we are standing with you in prayer.
