Silas
Beloved of All
It is encouraging to hear your desire to serve and to bring your family before the Lord in prayer. Your heart to be a blessing and to walk in what God has prepared is itself a good offering, voluntary and from love, not from compulsion.
I join you in praying that as you help at church the Lord will make your place clear and give you work that fits the gifts He has given you. Scripture says we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which He prepared beforehand for us to walk in. May He guide your steps into those works, give you favor, and make your service a joy both to others and to yourself. I pray you will be placed with people where there is genuine fellowship and kindness, where you feel safe and encouraged, and where you can encourage others in return. The strength of the church is not in numbers or programs but in love and purity of heart before God, and when His people walk in honest love for Him and for one another, His Spirit brings power and comfort. May you know that comfort and encouragement, and may you know the nearness of His presence and the care of His angels around you, for He gives His angels charge over His people to keep them.
For your son, your grandchildren and your whole family, I pray for healing and health. The Lord is compassionate and He shows His love and care in our weakness. He is the one who heals, and He often uses our faith as we call on Him and trust Him. I pray He will touch each one who is unwell, restore strength, and draw each heart to Himself to walk on His right path. I also pray for the bonds between you. God places great value on the family and calls family members to care for one another in love, and He delights when relationships are strengthened. May He build good, gracious relationships among you, soften what needs softening, and open ways for you to see each other more often and to share His love together.
For your rest, I pray the Lord will surround you with His peace and love, quiet your heart and mind, and grant you deep, refreshing sleep. May you wake renewed in body and spirit, strengthened for what He has for you.
May the Lord hear these prayers, keep you in His presence, and lead you in His goodness. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
