It's Tuesday, November 27, 2012 as I write this forward to the weekly newsletter of what's been going on at prayerrequest.com.
1. Quick Reply Button - Underneath each of the first requests on the home page is a button that says, Click Here if You Prayed For This. When you click this, it will then automatically post a general reply indicating that you prayed for this request. It will then return you to the home page. You can also customize the text that is used for these replies. To customize your quick reply, Go to the Settings Menu, then Edit My Profile. Then scroll down to the bottom and edit the Quick Reply Text. Then click save changes. Now, whatever you entered there will be used whenever you click the button under a request. You can also click the link that says Click Here to Type a Reply. This is to enter whatever you want with the regular reply format.
2. Scroll Back to Last Request Prayed For - After you pray for something using the quick reply, or when you click after praying for something to return to the home page, the system should automatically try to return you to the request you were at. This should make it easier to go through multiple prayer requests. It will also show an animated graphic that says, Thank You For Praying.
3. Similar Requests - When you click to view a prayer request, the system will automatically do a search and show you up to 5 similar requests. These will appear in a window on the lower right of each prayer request.
4. Group Chat - On the bottom chat bar is a room where all can come and chat together.
5. Prayer Teams - On the right column of the home page are options to join our prayer teams. Join any or all of these teams where others facing similar issues can join and minister to one another.
6. Free Bible Software - See my blog entry about some Bible software and modules available for free. Save yourself thousands of dollars. No tricks - just download them.
