It's Thursday, May 31, 2012 as I write this forward to the weekly newsletter of what's been going on at prayerrequest.com.
Here are some highlights and important information to take note of:
1. If your account here uses an AOL email, please change it ASAP.
No matter what we try, we keep getting errors from AOL email servers.
So from now own, we will not be accepting AOL emails for new accounts.
I recommend that anyone currently using an AOL email here to please change it as soon as possible.
Click Here to Change Your AOL Email setting to another one you have (Settings Menu - Change Email).
If you do not, an AOL email server error may cause our system to automatically ban your account. This has happened twice already just today.
If you do get banned, please submit a support ticket at the banned account center with a different email and your current user name.
2. The Arcade is Available
An arcade system is now available at prayerrequest.com. If you just want to take a break for a little while, feel free to stop by and play a game or two.
To go to the Arcade, Click the Arcade button on the bottom chat bar on the far left. Or select the Arcade below the Media Menu at the top of any page.
There are various features such as keeping track of high scores,! trophies, and issuing challenges to other members.
More games will be added from time to time. As of the time of this writing, pradmin has the most high scores.
Some of the games include: Ten Pin Bowling, Burger Time, Word Up, Curveball, Archery, Air Typer, Skee Ball, Bookworm, Solitaire, Tetris, and many more.
3. A New Banned Account Support Center is Available
We now have a help desk based ticket system to help when members are banned from the site.
Sometimes, this is just due to a problem delivering email. Other times it is more serious.
The new site allows anyone who is banned to open a ticket to discuss the matter.
It also contains a copy of the Terms of Service, and other pertinent information.
Click Here To Visit the Banned Support Center (no, it won't ban you...but you can visit to see what it looks like).
4. Please read the Terms of Service
At the bottom of every page on the website is a link to the Rules and Terms of the site. Please read this to avoid running into problems here.
5. The Blog Entries In This Newsletter
If you would like to read the blog entries mentioned in this newsletter, click here to read the blogs. The links within this email below for the blogs do not go to the right page.
