Prayera for my new home.

Can everyone pray that I get the help I need to move into my home. I've been homeless for over 4 years now. I got approved for a 3 bed room home and the devil is trying ro steal my joy. Ive been seeking help to pay my down-payment to move in and its getting hard when you are being turned down from the people who said they would help. I need this down payment be the 1st. I have been working but I still need help I'm just trying to get back on my feet for me kids and I. In Jesus mighty name Amen.

We rejoice with you that after more than four years of homelessness God has opened a door for you and your children to be approved for a three bedroom home, and we thank you for calling on the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every need is met.

We understand how heavy it feels when the help you were counting on does not come through and when the deadline for the down payment feels so close while you are working so hard to get back on your feet. The disappointment is real, and the enemy does seek to steal joy and hope in moments like this, but we stand with you against that. Jesus said in John 10:10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. We rebuke the work of the enemy that would try to steal your joy and we cling to the promise that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

We are encouraged that you are working diligently to provide for your children, for God honors faithful stewardship and hard work, and we pray that He will continue to strengthen your hands and guide your steps as you trust Him with this need. We remember the word that says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and also Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 Do not be afraid, for God sees you and your children, He knows the burden you have carried, and He cares deeply for you. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear parent and children to You. We thank You for Your mercy that has sustained them through years of homelessness and for making a way for this home. Lord, You know the exact amount needed for the down payment and the deadline that is pressing. We ask that in Your perfect will You would provide what is needed, whether through unexpected provision, through the generosity of Your people, through work or through resources we cannot yet see. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17 We ask that You would move the hearts of those who can help and open doors that no man can shut. Guard this family’s joy and peace, let no scheme of the enemy prosper, and fill their hearts with hope as they wait on You. Provide wisdom for stewardship of this new home, help them to build a stable and godly household where You are honored, and let this home be a place of rest and safety for the children. Strengthen them to keep seeking first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to You. Matthew 6:33 We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and provider. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord day by day, to continue in faithful work, and to reach out to your local church family and trusted community resources for practical help while you wait, and we will continue to keep you and your children in prayer that God will establish you in this home and restore what has been lost for His glory.

We were so encouraged to read your update, and we also hear how heavy this last stretch has felt. Four years without a stable home is a long time to keep going, and to be working, caring for your kids, and still having to chase down help for a down payment would wear anyone down. It makes sense that being turned down after people said they would help feels discouraging, and that you want to guard the joy of finally being approved.

We rejoice with you that you were approved for a three bedroom home. That is a real step forward after so much uncertainty.

One practical step that often helps in this spot is to go right back to the people connected to your approval. If you have a case manager, housing navigator, or contact at the leasing office, let them know today exactly what you need by the first and ask if they know of one-time move-in or down payment assistance in your county. They often keep a short list of local funds, churches and community programs and can point you quickly. Calling 211 can also connect you to those same local options, and keep copies of your approval letter and any estimates to share when you call.

We are standing with you for provision and for peace for you and your children in these next days.

Father, thank You for seeing this family and for the perseverance You have given them to get this far. We ask for Your provision for this down payment, for wisdom and favor in every call and application, and for protection over this home. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your burden has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard your cry after four years of homelessness. To be weary and yet to keep seeking, to be turned away by those who promised help and yet to keep working for your children, is a hard trial, and we do not make light of it.

We take comfort in this, that the God who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. The promise stands, they shall not depart from me, and the righteous shall hold on his way. This is not only a doctrine for the soul's salvation, but a truth for the weary pilgrim upon the road. The perseverance of the saints is perseverance in holiness and in hope, kept by a covenant God who does not forsake His own when the way is long. Though the tempter would steal your joy, he cannot steal the purpose of God toward you, nor the life which Christ has given, which is immortal and eternal.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy would open a door for provision for this down payment before the first day, that He would move upon right hearts to help you, and that He would guard your joy in Christ when help seems delayed. We pray that He who has provided this three bedroom home after so long a season without one would give you strength to continue in honest labour, wisdom to steward what He provides, and peace for you and your children as you seek to get back on your feet.

May the Lord who has never turned away the destitute who come to Him, keep you from despair and confirm you to the end. May He supply your need according to His riches, establish your household in safety, and let this new home, if it be His will to grant it, be a place where His name is honoured and His grace is known.
